The next few days went on with a routine, until once when Deni doesn't arrive. Pew was certainly worried, no worker knew of his whereabouts either. It was nearing midnight and he hasn't arrived yet. Did Deni oversleep? Surely not. Maybe something had happened? Pew couldn't help but wonder. He was just fine the day before, surely he had to be okay. Davi casually came in and snapped Pew out of her thought. She looked at him with confusion while he greets her arrogantly
"Not who you're expecting? I'm your substitute nurse." Pew rolled her eyes and scowled
"You don't even know first aid..." He frowned at his attempt and explained
"Yeah but Deni asked me to come over for today." Pew's hopes somewhat rose up and she questioned Davi
"You've seen him?" He nodded
"He seemed seriously worried and in a hurry, he told me to apologise to you." Pew commented
"Oh, that's strange... Anyway, what's happening in the world?" Davi replied
"I've seen mum, again, she's worried but let us off... Oh yeah, over the day in the Twilight Highlands, the dragon queen had lured in Deathwing-" Pew blurted out in surprise
"What?" Davi frowned and continued
"She had managed to weaken Deathwing significantly but she herself barely made it, they had escorted her back to Wyrmrest to regain strength. People are terrified of Deathwing's strength, general fear etc."

Pew sighed and moved away from that topic
"Got a plan of action or are you going to be just sitting here?" He laughed sarcastically
"I knew you'd say something like that. Yes, I'm here just to bother you, because I am certain that you can stay here on your own. Pew, obviously I do not know what the hell you need me for, other than food." Pew smiled
"Would it hurt you if we talked after such a long time?" He laughed again
"Oh, so you do miss me after all?" Pew too laughed and admitted
"Yes, I do. Except that stupidity of your's hasn't changed, I do not miss that." Davi smirked as he sat down on the edge of his sister's bed
"Thanks." He paused for a second, smiled proudly and added
"You changed so much, I just do wish we didn't have to reunite like this..." It struck home hard, she regretfully began to explain herself
"I wanted to tell you-" Davi cut her off
"I know Pew." She barely said anything which confused Pew, she looked at him with confusion and asked
"Huh?" Davi held her hand and explained with a simple tone
"Pew, the defenders are one of the most popular people on Azeroth. It wasn't long when I heard of you, but when I did, I was really happy for you, with that came worry but I believe in you. I get it, I can be annoyingly overprotective sometimes, but you made me upset when you hadn't visited Dalaran." Pew looked right at him and shamefully apologised
"I'm really sorry Davi, I-I wish I hadn't done that. It was stupid of me to think you wouldn't know. I have changed to be a bit more enclosed and greedy over the years, look where it's lead me. I don't like myself that way, running away from things and I don't even know where it started." Davi gently hugged her and caressed her head
"Just know that I couldn't possibly ever be mad at you. I'm glad to see you are still so honest with yourself. You're always so mentally soft but still independent. I guess you can take this opportunity as a start for a better you?" Pew nodded and quietly asked
"Why does it always come down to this? Am I really all that soft?" Davi chuckled
"Not really, I'm just the only person that you spill your heart out to this much."

She tightened her arms around his back and commented
"You're right, I rely on you the most." He laughed trying to brighten Pew up a little more
"Still haven't found anyone better than me?" They parted and Davi remained seated on the edge of Pew's bed. She chuckled
"Of course I haven't, it doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon either. More importantly, have you?" He laughed
"I'm not any better than you. Mages just may not be quite my type. Perhaps I should spend more time in Darnassus." Pew giggled
"Based on the last six decades if not more, no one's your type Dav." He chuckled.

There was a brief pause before Davi added to the former topic
"You know... I've not been my best lately either, or just ever in general... You know how much I avoid dad, and it's just bothering me all the time, because when I avoid him, I avoid everyone else in our family. It's the worst when mum says she misses me..." Pew lightly shook her head
"Davi, it's not your fault that he sets impossible expectations for you. You should just try to tone down towards him..." Davi scoffed with a hint of humour
"I know it's not exactly my fault, but I really feel it sometimes. When he calls me an 'isolated highborne' for example..." She took a little while to think before replying
"I don't know Davi, but you could try visiting everyone while Grandpa's there. I hope it's self-explanatory enough." He nodded
"It's actually not a bad idea." They had spent the night talking and making up for the time they have been away. Occasionally Davi left for food. They have been talking till the early morning until Pew drifted off to sleep, her mind clear that she has now fewer things to worry about.
