(Luke's POV)
I sat in my car outside her apartment building debating wether I should go in or not. Wouldn't she find it extremely creepy if I just showed up at her door? Oh god, this was such a bad idea.
I really want to see her though, she's all I've been thinking about for the past week. It's odd if you think about it, I barely know her. I was just incredibly intrigued by her.
Gaining a small amount of confidence, I got out of the car and walked into her apartment building.
Shit, I don't know what room she's in. Would the lady at the front desk tell me? There's gotta be some type of log.
I repeated the sentence I would say in my head. I would have to say something across the lines of "Excuse me, do you know what room-"
Oh wait, I don't even know her name!
Aaannddd there goes another brilliant idea by the wonderful Luke Hemmings. Way to go, dumbass.
My thoughts were quickly interrupted by the ding of an elevator.
Michael.
He lives here too? Wait, does he live with her? Oh no, are they dating? I wouldn't be surprised, he's charming and she's beautiful.
"Luke?"
"Er, hi Michael," I coughed awkwardly.
"What are you doing here?"
Crap. Should I tell him? No. He would think I'm a stalker... But hey what do I have to lose right?
"Um... I'm actually looking for that girl," I confessed feeling heat rise to my cheeks.
"What girl? Are you dating someone?" he asked, smirking.
"No! I just wanted to say hi to her. It was that girl I was talking to last week
at the café," I rushed out, blushing even more.
"Annabelle?"
"I guess, like I said I never really got her name," I stated, scratching at the back of my neck.
"Yeah, long dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and super short" he said, describing her.
"Yup, that's her," I said excitedly.
"Apartment B13, 6th floor."
"Thanks, Mike. Can we catch up sometime," I asked, really hoping he said yes.
"Yeah Luke, totally. I'm apartment B26 7th floor. Come over anytime, there's lots to talk about," he smiled.
"Alright, I'm gonna go see her, ill stop by soon," I said, walking away and pressing the elevator button.
He nodded, shuffling out the door.
When the elevator arrived, I quickly got in, pressing the correct floor. The doors opened and revealed apartments B8 and B9 right away.
I soon found her door and took a deep breath. I went to knock but froze. All confidence I had shattered and I stood there motionless, doubts flooding my mind.
What if she doesn't want to see me again?
I quickly knocked on her door, waiting there for what seemed like hours, harshly biting my lip ring, a nervous habit I had.
Before I could walk away, her door swung open and revealing a confused Annabelle dressed in black jeans, an All Time Low shirt, and grey socks. Her wavy hair was a bit tangled, but she still looked great.
I quickly looked back up at her when she called my name.
"Luke?"
"Yeah, um. Hey?"
I really did not think this through.
