From Chocolate to Fruit

Wendy's POV:

I was beyond surprised when the odd coin had shocked everybody, except Erza-san. The rest of us felt the magnetic pull and also the electricity, so why didn't she? I had a feeling that Erza-san was going to be playing an important role in this new adventure.

Happy still had the coin in his hands and we were a bit worried that it might shoot out electrical charges, again. Out of nowhere, the coin began to shake and we stood prepared to fight, in case somebody would appear. The coin began to float and it drifted towards Erza-san. She had surprised look upon her expression when the unfamiliar object stopped before her. She carefully lifted her hands, then the coin dropped into her palm. After it landed in her hands, the magnetic strength I had felt was decreasing and I couldn't sense the tingle in my body.

"So, how come Erza isn't affected by any of this? I mean she didn't feel the magnetic strength or the electric shock! Now, the coin flies to her! " Gray-san exclaimed. I would bet a lot of money to say that the rest of us were just as puzzled as he was. It seemed like the coin was choosing Erza-san over the rest. Although I didn't see the logic behind it, I knew there was one.

Erza-san spoke up, "I have no idea what's happening! I have the same questions as all of you!" So, Erza-san has no idea what's happening either. Well, it may be unusual to her, too. It's odd to be the only person who didn't fit in.

I really hoped that the end of all of this would come to an end soon. If it doesn't, I might actually go insane.

Erza's POV:

The shame of lying to my friends was beginning to well up. I couldn't tell any of them about the voice in my head or the presence of a hand in mine. For some unknown purpose, I wanted to keep it a secret. It would be something only I understood about.

So far, I've found a spiritual rock that sparkles a rainbow light, when placed under the sun's light. Lucy and Happy found the coin. That was two clues found if I can call them clues. I had a good awareness that there was only one more piece of the puzzle. Seeming as the first two hints were easy to find, the final one may prove to be difficult. Maybe out of our leagues.

We continued to explore the forest. As we passed through areas, the scenery became think with lush plants. There were fruits of all kind and vegetation filled the expanse. Walking through the bushes, my nose caught the scent of something delicious. My eyes looked down and there, in front of my feet, were these ripe strawberries. They looked like jewels with the vermilion color and the shine. My mouth watered and pictures of strawberry cake started popping into my mind. Oh, how much I would love to chow down on a yummy cake. I heard a rustling sound and looked back. Natsu and Gray were tasting all the fruits. I observed as they went from slowly eating to eating like pigs. Gray made a "hmmm" sound as he savored the flavor of the raspberries he was munching on. The look of fresh yumminess on their faces made my stomach growl. I peered down at the strawberries and plucked one off its stem. I shot it into my mouth and savored its sweet richness. It was better than any strawberry I had tried in Earthland. My heart burst as the sugary flavor traveled from my tongue to my stomach.

By this point, everybody was munching on the fruits. This part of the forest was completely different from the one we were in before. That area was full of chocolate and this part was filled with fresh fruits. Now that I recalled the chocolate trees, I wonder if this section of the forest still has trees made of chocolate.

I walked over to where Lucy was sitting, eating blueberries, and I sat down. I asked her, "Hey, Lucy. Do you think the trees here are still made of chocolate? Or do you think it's made of something else or is it just a tree?" She looked like she was in deep thought until and an idea hit her.
