Chapter 1: Crystal Clear

Droplets fell from the heartbroken sky...

Each tear I try to touch just drip down, falling to the ground below with this window cutting me from the outside world. I stare at the forest that ends towards at the feet of the gate.

Is the sky crying for me?

I held my pendant to my chest as I recalled all the moments I lived through but I still ask myself...Why do I still live here? I don't have any purpose on earth.

Kaien changed over the years and gotten more softer with vampires than I imagined. I remember once he tried to kill me when I was wandering lost in the streets. But he doesn't know... Cross has been heard of through all the aristocrats and Purebloods in our society.

"That's great! Thank you, Headmaster Cross!" Now may you leave my sight? A hint of annoyance could be heard but it seem that no one noticed.

"Kiyomi, make sure you catch the eye and heart of Lord Kaname. It would really benefit our family if you do"
