Chapter 2: The Bleeding Rose

"Here we are Lady-I mean, Kiyomi and Zero will guide you to your classes for tomorrow! Any questions or concerns?" Yuki asked me as she handed me the key to my dorm room.

"I don't think so. Thank you for your help" I said with a strain smile.

She left as soon as I entered the room but I wasn't too surprise by the arrangements to my room . A chandelier hung above my head, ready to fall on my skull.

I let myself drop onto the rose scented king sized bed and the crimson sheets sort of offend me a bit. Why?

Because it just remains me of what I truly am, a Pureblood. Of course, a few vampires don't feel guilty about taking blood out of a living being. But I do.

That memory has also left a bruise to my heart and I see how humans are much like us. Expect for the fact that we vampires live longer and maintain a certain kind of beauty that stays with us to our graves.

Mainly because I have the power to turn a human into a vampire, like other Purebloods.

"I wonder, what I should do...?"

I stared at the ceiling for what i think was a eternity until a smile creep up my lips.

"I can't always stay a elegant young lady" i said as I unlocked my suitcase that was brought here before I came.

There laid my green T-shirt and sweatpants that had LOVE written down one side of the leg. I had escape my house several times before and I thought these matched me.

I took off my orange long sleeved dress that was printed with floral designs. And believe me, that thing is hard to take off. Then, I roughy kicked out the stupid heels that I might never get use to.

When I finished, I was in heaven. No kidding like really that outfit weights a ton.

I wanted to explore so I threw my jacket on and walked down the dead empty hallway.

Should I really be here? Should I be enjoying this moment of freedom? Or just staying the silent little doll that I assure that I am. But I have to complete that vain man's request or I'll never hear the end of it.

Mom...Dad...Why did you have to leave me? You guys were strong and brave so why didn't you guys fight back? You should had saved Satoshi instead of me. I lived and he didn't even get to see his first birthday while I had many of those.

"Should I inform Kaname that I arrived?" I yawned and started to walk back to my room but crashing caught my ears.

"How dare you call Lord Kaname in such a disrespectful way! I have you know he's higher than you can ever be!"
