Months had passed since the incident. Nothing was ever the same for anyone, at least, for those who tried to return things back to where they were. But it wasn't. It would never be the same ever again. Everything had changed. It was scary for the most part, as no one knew how to react or what to do. It was all so sudden and it felt so different. Friendships had fallen apart. Tamaki was no longer speaking with Kyoya, after recent events of him partaking in certain acts that Tamaki could no longer agree with. Kyoya fell in a hole, about six feet under where he can no longer sleep for over an hour without waking up in the middle of the night. Dreams of Asuna would always cease in his memories, smiling next to him, never once batting her eyelashes towards Kyoya, as he couldn't help but stare at her. In the distance, at least. She was so beautiful and kind to those who did her unfairly. She soul was beautiful, and no could he compare to the likeness of her. He couldn't bare the thoughts of not being close to her, to not see her precious pale face everyday. To see her golden smile or how her voice sounds like a babies laugh. Contagious to listen and can never get enough of. Even when he was seething with jealous rage, it was only because he couldn't figure her out. It was a game to him, and he enjoyed it. Perhaps a little too much. His interest was keen, never stopping to take a breath and think for one second, logically explaining the facts of bringing up her past and bringing that up past the limit of execution. Her execution. Detrimental to everyone's health. The host club had gone quiet. The girls understood however some did not. Not everyone knew the girl that once was always muted upon the gang. That she was only there for a short amount of time, only to be caught and killed by her own hands. No one blamed her either. No one wanted to. It out an eerie silence in the halls when one spoke of her because the story was terrifying just to tell making anyone who would hear go silent. The rumors spread throughout the school, taking into account of the girl who had gone missing. They all asked the host club questions.
Who was that girl? What's the whole story? What ever happened to the two criminals? It was quick when the news came across the school board. It couldn't be silenced forever. The teachers and faculty all heard about it, causing a shock and an uprising with the school. Petitions went out against bullying, flyers went around the school to promote general student protection, even teachers sent out lectures during meetings with their peers, dictating whether they should send out scouts to watch their students more closely since some were not to be trusted and needed immense security in the halls watching and waiting for a student to slip up just to take them down into private investigations to record their behavior. It was scary. No one knew how to react upon the situation.
They say the school board had lost their minds. Others say it was needed beforehand so no one can get too much out of control. It was a dire situation which helped some but caused more trouble than it should have. No one agreed with the new system, at least that's what most of the student body says. But to be fair, it kept them in line whether they liked it or not.
The host club ceased to exist at a certain point. Due to Kyoya's lack of sleep, the rest of the club were falling apart. Haruhi was the only one stable, trying to get them to stick together. But due to no avail, no one wanted to mend the friendship either. To think it would be Tamaki to hold on to their friendship, but he was second to let it go after Kyoya since they had a fight as well due to Kyoya leaving the club. Tamaki couldn't believe that he wanted to give up and leave them all behind so Tamaki thought he was doing what was best by taking care of two jobs at once, but it wasn't enough. He couldn't keep up. It became too much for him dealing with everything at once, trying to keep the host club under control, but there was no one who knew how to do Kyoya's job best. Tamaki tried to take over, but it became too much and for the first time, he broke out into pimples from all the stress he was under which made him freak out even more to the sight of his new profound appearance. To think that even he could fall under the pressure, it made the rest of them crack.
