(This is based on the song "Happier" by Marshmello)

Chat noir landed silently on the building, and sullenly walked over to Ladybug, who was sitting at the edge of the roof. He plopped down next to her, and they sat in an uneasy silence.

"Kitty? You're unusually quiet today," she said, "What's on your mind?"

"Lately... I've been... I've been thinking," he sighed, "I want you to be happier."

"What?" she said.

"I want you to be happier." he said. She was utterly confused.

"What do you mean?"

"You love another boy, don't you?" he sighed.

"W-we'll I'm not a hundred percent sure..." she stuttered.

"Please, don't pretend," he said, looking down. He couldn't meet his lady's eyes.

"When the morning comes, when we see what we've become... in the cold light of day we're a flame in the wind, not the fire that we've become," he said.

"B-but we're still going strong, Chat Noir, I don't know what you're talking about," she said, laying a hand on her shoulder.

"You know what I mean," he said, frowning, "And for a minute, I want to change my mind, 'cause this just don't feel right to me."

"Well, not to me either..." Ladybug said. Chat turned around and looked deep in her eyes. The glassy ocean met soft grass.

"I want to raise your spirits, I want to see you smile, even though it means I'll have to leave... my feelings behind," he sighed, "I can't keep doing this to you. You obviously don't feel the same."

The lady gasped. She knew Chat Noir as an arrogant flirt, but this was another side of him. This side was the heartfelt, selfless side of him that he showed often, but she was too blind to see it. For the first time, though, she saw.

"I want you to be happie-," he started, but was interrupted by Ladybug. She turned him to face her.

"Ok, ok, ok. I get it. I don't say 'I love you' to your face, instead I choose to get annoyed and all... but trust me, I really don't mind the playful, flirty side of you!"

"Really?" Chat said.

"Yes really! And maybe your puns need a little work, but that's something we can fix!" she said.

"Yeah, but-" he started, only to be interrupted by Ladybug's lips on his own. He gasped and his face turned braight red. Soon, though, their lips moved in sync. They both pulled away, breathless.

"Now stop talking about this, will you?" Ladybug said, giggling and teasingly bopping his nose.

"Alright," he said, putting his arm around her.
