Instead of me waking up first Ersa shakes me awake "Hey (Y/N), come on we need to get up before we're late for school." I nod and get up from the nest. It doesn't take long for me to fully wake myself up, though I was in a rather bad mood since I'm not exactly a morning person. I look to Ersa and notice she wasn't wearing a uniform like I thought she would be "Um Ersa, where's your uniform?"
Ersa wasn't wearing a usual black suit with a plaid skirt and red tie with a white undershirt, she instead had a black t-shirt on that said stay black that was so long that it covered the shorts she was wearing.

I am pretty sure she is trying to see if I'd blush at this and she definitely succeeds. Ersa looks at her shirt and shorts and back to me "Actually this school doesn't require a uniform, which by the way I'm really happy about because I can wear what I want." I can agree with that, after all with my tail and wings wearing clothes that aren't mine and aren't custom made by me would be really awkward. Especiallyif it's a skirt.
I get up from the couch and go into my room, I rummage through my closet and come back out with a black shirt with the word Metallica written across the top of the shirt in red and a giant black widow spider that had a skull for a body. It is a pretty dark looking shirt but I absolutely love the band so I don't care how graphic it was.
I finish dressing and walk out of my room, Ersa is sitting on the couch waiting for me. She turns and her glasses shine in the sun that's spilling in the room. She suddenly smiles at me "(Y/N) you look like a badass wearing that!" I blush "Th-thanks." Ersa gets up and walks to the door while I follow, she has two brown bags in her hand "Ersa what's in the bags?" she opens the door and we begin the walk to the school "Oh nothing really, just our lunch. I packed me a sandwich and you some coal." at least she knows what I like to eat.
Ersa talks most of the way there, I am pretty silent through the walk with the occasional nod or muffled chuckle, I usually don't smile in public. When I'm out of my den I'm almost a completely different person, like Ersa had said last night I look at everything with boredom and disgust.
We soon get to the school and enter into the courtyard. There were already people everywhere, some were laughing and smiling while they talk with friends, others were running or screaming or just being complete animals. Funny for me to say since I'm technically an animal myself but whatever.
Ersa just stops and sits at a table "Might as well just follow me everywhere since we have all the same classes. So what are you going to do when the fifth period comes since you don't have a sixth?" I am about to answer when my tail suddenly whacks me in the back of the neck, Ersa giggles at this when I turn and growl at my tail "It's not used to being out of my pants so often." she smiles brightly, her red highlights getting a brighter shade of red from the sun "Maybe it's your tails way of saying thanks." my tail thanking me by hitting me in my neck. Right.
