Chapter 15

Rin POV

It's Sunday and  I got up earlier as I wasn't able to sleep properly, scorpy was on my mind the whole time.
"Holy crap" I shot up in my bed thinking about my date with her. I quickly checked my mobile, to see if she messaged me or not. There was a message left by her. "Please be it a 'yes' ". Saying that to myself I opened up the message.

"I will be there around 9 a.m. sorry for the late reply" that's what was written in her message .
"No problem, I will be waiting for you." I replied to her .

But than I saw the time...
"OMG it's already 8 a.m., I am going to be late. How could I be so foolish" cursing myself, I hurriedly got out of my bed,  took a bath , changed my clothes, and groomed myself a little, than rushed to the cafe.

As I was gonna ride my bike, cafe was just 15 minutes drive, away from my home. I reached ten minutes earlier than the meet up time.
I hoped that I didn't make her wait, but when I checked-in the cafe, she wasn't there yet . I sighed in relief.

I waited for 15 long minutes, (you know how much long it seems when you're nervously waiting for someone you like😜)
I have been eyeing the entrance the whole time ..
I was struck in aww, when I looked at how beautiful and graceful scorpy seemed entering the cafe.
She was wearing a pearl blue dress with her hair tied up in a bun.
When she reached the table I was sitting at, I stood up as a gesture of respect and drew out a chair for her to sit, in front of me.
I was so happy today. She really came.

"Hi, did I keep you waiting long enough?" She asked.
"No, I just got here too. A-nd .." I stopped mid-sentence, when she made an eye contact.
"And?" She questioned.
"You really look adorable today." I finally complimented her, after mustering up my courage to look directly at her.
She thanked me with an innocent and shy smile of hers.

Normally I don't find talking to girls and complimenting them hard, but I don't know why I am so flustered today. It's easy to to talk to her on daily basis but today it's getting on my nerves.
I ordered a cup of coffee for her and a juice for myself as I know her preferences.
Trying to be casual I asked her " should I take it as you also like me?"

"I do, but I only think of you as a friend and I came here today because I didn't want to let you down.." as she was telling me this I guessed what she will say next so I interrupted her . " I know, I was just trying my luck.."
She cut me off mid sentence, saying " let me finish first, don't draw conclusion so early on or it will become a misunderstanding" .
