Maggie pov
'Lord not this again'
"Nat, he's here," Nat looks around frantic and I can tell when exactly she seed him cos she freezes and shivers hard.
"We have to get outta here right now, please let's go right now." I say to Elijah while never once taking my eyes off the bane of my existence.
Elijah looks like he wants to argue but whatever he sees on my face stops him,
"Alright ladies let's go and you little bit have some explaining to do." he says in a serious tone.
I am still shaken when we get home but it feels safer in my space.
Nat and Ange don't look any better.
"Time to spill it, why did y'all look like you have seen the same ghost?" Pete asks with arms folded across his chest.
I wait for either of the girls to talk but this was my story to tell apparently.
Flashback
I had a sister, Lord my elder sis was beautiful she had the same skin tone as me but all similarities ended there she had the rear manageble hair, these beautiful eyes, a little nose and these gorgeous lips that people pay alot for but we were the best of friends and most of all her fiance mathew was gorgeous I won't even lie.
I was 20 when they announced their marriage everyone was ecstatic me especially till he started looking at me funny, I took it as a joke when he threw comments of how beautiful I am, how I do this or that better than my sister. She started to dim,she had always been radiant and smiling but now she was just dim and I begged her not to marry him God knows I did but she said I just wanted him for myself.
Two weeks to her wedding we had a group of armed robbers come in the house, they raped my mum and sister and one of them dragged me to the bedroom he removed his mask and it was my soon to be brother in law, I knew he was evil but I never expected this. He told me he would start by fucking me in my ass and taking my virginity will be when he took me to his house cause I was his. That's the day I knew fear,he had a gun pointed at my head, he violated me, but before his friend could carry me off I hit him with a bed side lamp and kept stabbing with the shards of glass I could find. I just regret not doing enough damage to him.
My sister killed herself on her wedding day she slit her wrists and tied a noose around her neck. In her letter she said the guilt was too much cause she brought him to us.
"Matthew got arrested a month later, sentenced to 25 years for armed robbery and man slaughter he vowed to me he would get out and I would pay my dues."
Elijah looks as though he might murder someone and Pete just looks shocked and disgusted but not with me.
"Why the fuck is he out then?" I laughed humorlessly,
"This is Zambia Ej he probably bribed someone or something I don't know what I will do now, he's back for blood and am scared for my baby."
I had never seen Elijah look as cold as when he said "Our baby little bit, he touches either of you and he will bleed."
