"Davey, Davey, Davey," Jack clicked his tongue as he regarded the said boy's slumped posture over the top of a very pricey wooden desk, multiple sheets of paper strewn in front of him. Even looking at the sheets of paper made Jack's brain hurt let alone even attempting to read them, not even starting to when David began another page. To be completely honest, Jack was an attention whore and Davey had been working 'round the clock on an essay for college, not even sparing a moment to himself or—in Jack's opinion, more importantly—with Jack. It didn't seem fair. "You look about as stressed as a fly trapped in a pickle jar... please, take a break."
He watched with curiosity as Davey gnawed on the end of his pencil for a few moments then moved to give his locks a quick tug as if to bring himself away from his work for a moment. "I'm busy, Jacky, I can't just— just drop everything. Be patient for a little longer."
By now Jack didn't want to be patient any more. He wanted his boyfriend back and not this mindless slave—even though Davey was never mindless. He reached down to tenderly run his hand over his back, the other boy flinching beneath his touch. It was then in that moment that Jack knew he had to get Davey away from the desk.
With the slightest of grins, he made his way around the desk to drape himself over Davey's work.
"Jack!"
"Davey."
"Jack get off!"
"Davey."
Davey gritted his teeth as he tried to push Jack off the hard way. "Get. Off."
Jack sighed, sitting up. "I didn't want to have to do this the hard way but... David Jacobs, you're grounded from doing any work on this assignment." In one smooth movement he grabbed the sheets of paper off the desk and held them high above his head.
"Jack," Davey whined. Knowing he couldn't get the paper even if he tried, he pulled Jack down into his lap to nuzzle the boy. "Thank you..."
"I promise you can have it back in an hour."
You can bet that neither boy thought about the assignment for the rest of the evening as lazy kisses passed from one to the other. It wasn't until morning that they really panicked.
