I tossed and turned repeatedly in my bed before checking the time on my phone "3:18 AM". I've had a lot going on in my head lately, I know I'm not in the best mental state right now. Every night it gets harder and harder to sleep, normally fresh air helps me clear my mind.

I made my way over to my closet throwing on some Adidas joggers and some slides. I went downstairs and walked out of the door with no set destination.

After a few minutes of just walking I lit the pre rolled blunt that I had been saving and took very long and drawn out drags of it. As I continued walking I came across a park, there were broken swings, broken beer bottles, and a excessive amount of cigarette buds.

I climbed on top of the monkey bars and sat there. It had a beautiful view, the moonlight lit up the city.

After observing a few minutes of observing the view I heard very faint crying coming from behind one of the benches. I made my way over to where I heard the crying to find a girl. "It's going to be ok" I said scooting over closer to her. I caught her attention and she looked up at me, she had a few bruises, a busted lip,and there was dried blood under her nose. I'm guessing she got into a fight or something but she obviously wasn't in the best condition. It seemed as if my brain stopped temporarily, I had no idea what to do.

" do you want me to call 9-1-1 ?" I asked while running my fingers through my hair in a panic. She shook her head and attempted to speak but nothing came out.

I had some supplies back at my house that I could possibly clean her up a bit. " I can take you back to my house and clean up some of your wounds if that's cool with you" I said breaking the silence. "  that's okay with me" she replied. I stood up slowly and helped her stand up.

I could honestly care less about all the dangers I could possibly be getting myself into by taking this stranger to the place where I live, whatever happens, happens.

" I'm Isaiah, Or wifi which ever you wanna call me" instead of replying right away, she nodded at me in response and stared at the ground. I decided to order an Uber so we could get back to my house faster. After I finished up on my phone I had put it in my pocket and looked up at the girl.

It wasnt a long car ride to my house, when we got there i paid the Uber driver and took her  bags in for her.

"I'm Leyohni, Thank you so much for everything"

"It's really no problem shawty"

I got up and went upstairs to get some rubbing alcohol and other supplies to help her clean her wounds. I went back downstairs and grabbed her hand and left her to the island in the kitchen.
