Chapter 10

Jace' POV

My heart dropped as I heard those words.
He has her. Raj. I don't understand why because yes we always hated each other but I didn't think he would go this far.
After I gathered myself I say:
„I'll be there."
„Wonderful!" He replies and I can basically see the smile on his face. Then he hangs up.

Clary's POV

I can hear him on the phone. Who is he calling? „Help!" i try to yell but my throat is to dry so it comes out as a quiet whisper.
Then I hear footsteps coming closer so i quickly pretend to be unconscious. He thinks that it wasn't as much fun if I wasn't conscious. Of course i'm going to take advantage of that.
But somehow he sees right through me.
„I know you're awake, love."
Fucking hell. Then suddenly he grabs my arm and pulls me up.
„We're going to have some fun know."
And then he grins happily.

John's POV

I have been looking for Clary everywhere and i'm going insane! I need to find her. Why wasn't I able to protect her? It's my goddamn job! I'm a horrible brother. Oh god.
Then Jace shows up and pulls me out of my trance.
„I got a phone call..." he begins slowly.
„And?" I ask confused.
„It's about Clary."
„Oh my god! Did the police find her? Is she ok?!"
„Not exactly." Jace answers.
„What happened?" I ask worriedly.

Raj' POV

Oh I've been waiting for this moment far too long! Finally I can get back at Jace and enjoy it!
"No wait please." Clarissa whispers.
Oh I can basically smell her fear and I love the power that it gives me.
"Oh my dear Clarissa." I smile.

Clary's POV

He-he touched me. In places where I shouldn't be touched. How could he do this. Why would someone do this?!
I'm still shaking uncontrollably.
Please. Please save me.

Jace' POV

It's time. I walk to the Adress and already see Raj from far away.
Ok i got this. For Clary. For my love.

John's POV

I'm following Jace in the shadows, a gun in my hand. I will do whatever it takes. For my sister, my family.

Raj' POV

I can see Jace walking towards me and I do my best to look calm. I give my friends in the darkness a sign to tell them that he's coming.

Third POV

I don't want to do this. It's just a girl! She's almost a kid! Oh god. I should just leave. But I can't.

Jace' POV

"Hello Herondale! So glad you could join us today!" Raj shouts. Us? Crap he probably has guys in the shadows...with guns.
It's ok, I calm myself down. For Clary.
"Where is she?" I say, and can barely contain the anger in my voice.
"Oh Clarissa will be coming shortly." He grins.
"What do you want?!" I shout.
"All that i ever wanted was you to feel the kind of pain that I felt!" His smile fades as he relives the memory.

I was walking through the streets to meet my girlfriend Anna. She's perfect and I just can't get her out of my mind!!! She has blond curls that reach her waist and blue eyes that look like the endless ocean. When I reach the café I see her standing at the counter. Kissing Jace Herondale. I've never felt such emotional pain ever. My heart breakers into a million pieces that can never be put back together but before I turn my back on them Jace pushes her away. She looks hurt and they talk for a few seconds. Then she runs out. She never saw the car coming.

Raj' POV

Fresh pain flooded through me as I remember. I blame it all on Jace. It's his fault.
"Bring her in!" I yell.
The door opens and my brother Blake drags Clarissa into the room.
I enjoy seeing the pain on Jace' face as he sees what I have done to his beloved 'girlfriend'.
He's about to run to her but before he can I say:
"Now now. Don't you want to hear what I want?"
Suddenly we hear a gunshot and a scream.
And then all hell breaks loose.

John's POV

I've had enough of all this talking! I can't wait any longer, seeing my sister there on the dirty floor. So I shoot one of the guys behind Raj.
Then the others start firing back but they can't see me. Raj runs behind the door. Pussy.
Jace grabs Clary and carries her outside and soon I follow them.

Clary's POV

When I wake up I hear an annoying beeping sound. I groan and try to open my eyes and when I do there's a blinding light so I have to close them again.
"Clary?" Someone says.
