AVENGERS: The Switch.

PART 6.

GALINA POV:
Back in the Avenger's vehicle, I'm handed a satnav. I put in my home address and hand it to the bow man, who heads to the front with Natalia, while I sit in the back with the Captain. The journey is quiet and very awkward, it's not like we can talk, because we don't understand each other. After a long while, Natalia calls out "Yakovich! Come here." I walk to the front and lean on the back of her chair "We're almost there, where should we land?" "There's a forest next to an old people's home to the east, it's about a 10 minute walk to mine from there." I stay standing as we approach the forest, we spot a small clearing and land in it.

I step out of the vehicle and head in the direction I know the sun sets, as we walk, the others talk amongst themselves, I tune them out. As soon as we get to the edge of the forest, I cross over the road and walk alongside the old people's home, I keep walking. Up ahead I can see my apartment building, nothing looks suspicious yet, no new cars outside. I walk into the building, the usual old lady is sitting behind the desk "Hello." "Oh, hello, who are you visiting?" "Galina Yakovich, she's expecting us." "Oh, she isn't in."

What!? He went out there?

"Are you sure? She said she'd be home." "Just a few hours ago some other friends of hers stopped by, she's a very popular young lady. They came back down and when I asked them why they were so quick, they said she wasn't home. Must've snuck passed me when I wasn't looking."

Friends? I don't have friends.

"Who came by? Did anyone give a name?" "No, nice young lads and a pretty girl." "Right, thank you. Good day to you." I walk back out of the building and straight to the fire escape, once we're outside, Natalia catches up to me "Any ideas?" "Let's see, shall we?" We head up and I push up my window.

Window is unlocked, that's a good sign, hopefully he escaped through it.

I climb in and walk into my living room.

NATASHA POV:
Walking into the living room I can immediately see a bookcase is very out of place, it's diagonal from the wall, in front of the door, looking like someone had opened the door and it had been blocking it. Galina walks calmly, but with haste, into the kitchen. She climbs onto the kitchen counter beside her tall fridge and swears in Russian "Someone found my pistol. Hopefully Barnes." She climbs back down. I walk over to the front door and pull on the handle, it's unlocked, after inspecting the lock I come to a conclusion "Someone picked your lock." She growls, I point to the bookcase "But it looks like Barnes was prepared."

How are we going to find him now? He could be anywhere by now, whoever is after Galina could've already found him.

Galina walks into her bedroom and comes back with a backpack, she pulls her tv out of the way and opens a hatch in the wall. Inside is a safe, which she unlocks and opens, she pulls everything out and puts it all in the backpack. She then walks around grabbing and few other things and adding them to the backpack, then puts it on her back. She puts a pistol, which I assume was also in the safe, in her waistband.

She was clearly prepared to make a run for it. Did she know these people would come for her?

"I need to contact my boss and tell her my apartment has been compromised. Do you want to get them to help us find Barnes or try ourselves?" I look to Cap and Clint "How are we going to go about finding Barnes?" After a discussion, we decide to work with the only trustworthy spy organisation in Russia, so we follow Galina back out of the window.
