Zaia's POV:

Of course Miss Hatchet stuck me with the Nerd Boy. What was so wrong with him that he had to go to medical? And how did Hatchet know without him saying anything?

Just then, he groaned and staggered to the side, clutching the wall to help keep his balance. Okay, this got me worried.

I walked the front of him and just Wow. He's actually kind of cute- I mean for a nerd. The Nerd- Adonis, had light brown hair that was immaculately gelled into place and eyes the colour of emerald. However, there was something in them... something sad. I could tell by the way he doesn't have a slight glint that everyone else has that he's been through something that's changed him. I wonder what it is. Those eyes held dark and mysterious secrets, I wanted to know what they were so bad. But he's a nerd, a cute one. But he's still not my type though.
He's probably never even kissed anyone.

We stared at each other for what was only seconds but felt like hours until I broke the silence.

"Hellooo what are you staring at? Where is the medical room? And can you hurry the fuck up you dumb-arse?!" I grimaced at how rude I was being to him, I didn't want to. But I had to. I'm no longer that girl.

The girl who wore her glasses so far up her nose they left a mark.
The girl who stuck to her studies and had no friends.
The girl who had never even talked to a guy, let alone kiss one.
The girl who let herself get bullied because she was a nerd.

"Oh uhm sorry? Let's go," he stuttered. Cute. Ugh no stop. I can't have these thoughts. I'm popular here, I can't be seen willingly hanging out with a nerd.

The first aider didn't even have to ask his name or what was wrong, she immediately knew. What was he hiding?

"You haven't been eating much, have you?" She asked, her voice laced with worry and concern.
"No, lo siento," HES SPANISH, HOLY COW I THOUGHT THIS ONLY HAPPENED IN AMERICAN MOVIES. Oh god stop it Zaia, remember, he's a nerd.

"Take your glasses off, it'll help with the dizziness," Adonis, I still don't get how a nerd could have a name that sexy, didn't seem too happy about it. He argued, but complied in the end. Maybe his eye sight was really bad?

I decided I wanted to know. So I walked up to him and Wow. He was hot without his glasses.
"You look good without your glasses," I said, softly smiling at him. He did look quite ill up close, his face was slightly pale and his lips were fading between purple and pink.

"Uhh, Thanks, I guess?" He muttered nervously. Up close, he smelt of vanilla and musk. I wanted to drool.

I took his glasses out of his hands.
"Can I try them on?" I have no clue why, but talking to him made me nervous and I suddenly felt shy.
When he said I could, I put them on and was immediately confused. There's something fishy going on here.

"Your eye sight is fine, these glasses are fake," I stated, trying to keep myself calm. Somehow, this angered me, it was probably the fact that he lies, acting as though he needs them when he doesn't. Shit. Why am I getting angry? Why do I care?

Adonis seemed panicked, he ran his fingers through his hair. As he did so, I could tell he has hard muscles in his arms from the way his blazer sleeves expanded when he reached up.
His hair became scruffy and the gelling was ruined.

Holy mother of all things sexy. Wow.

HE WAS SO FUCKING HOT. His eyes gleamed and his hair flopped over his face slightly. He's breathtakingly handsome.

My breath hitched slightly but I masked it over, "What's the real reason you wear these?"
"And why was the first aider so used to you being here? And why didn't Miss Hatchet have to ask what was wrong before sending you to the medical room?" Questions circled through my mind. This boy fascinated me. It was addicting.

So you can imagine how disheartened I felt when I heard his reply,
"I can't tell you." THE FUCK?!! Who does he think he is? Queen fucking Elizabeth?!

"Oh come on, at least tell me why you needed to come here," I pleaded, I don't care how desperate I sounded, I wanted answers.

"I'm anaemic. And before you say 'Oh em jee a boy?! Anaemic?!' It's natural to happen in both genders, it's just more common in females." Adonis stated, saying the 'oh em jee' bit in a girly voice.

My initial reaction was a giggle, his girly voice was funny.
Then I softened, damn, his anaemia must be bad.

"I understand." I whispered.

"Yeah laugh all you wan- Wait what? You understand?"  I smiled at his reaction, but it slowly faded when I realised that this meant when he told people they must have reacted negatively.

"I find it stupid when people think that men and women aren't equal. So what if you're an anaemic guy? I know I don't care. Just because you're anaemic, it doesn't change who you truly are."
I knew what it was like to be judged for something that wasn't your fault.

He smiled and a dimple formed on his right cheek, damn I know that's supposed to be cute but on him right now, it's fucking sexy.

"Wow," he said, the same word has been circling my mind since I first looked into his eyes. But why was he saying it to me?

"What?" I asked. My questioning never stops.
"Has anyone ever told you that you're amazing?" Adonis reached over and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. His touch sent shivers through my entire body.

No. I knew what he was doing, he was trying it. And I was not having it.
I let out a deep breath, "Yes, them guys that wanna fuck me!" I screamed in anger and stormed out, not caring what the punishment would be for leaving him.

***

I can't believe him! He has some nerve, trying it with me. What kind of messed up nerd is he?

He was probably just horny because that's the closest a girl who isn't his mum has got to him.
Idiot virgin.

Ha! What am I saying? I'm virgin myself. That is a secret I will hold till it is no longer true. I'm just not ready yet. Maybe I'll be ready when Adonis comes around?
Ugh, god what is wrong with me?!
