How it All Began

Naomi's POV: 

                      (Flash back :)

    "  I walked on to the stage and felt lights gleaming at me. Once i got to the X in the middle of the stage i felt my hole body tense up. " Hello i'm Naomi." I said innocently into the microphone." Hello love, how old are you ?"  I smiled suddenly the nerves turned into excitement." I'm 17."  Simon smiled at me. " And do you think that you have the X-factor?"  I wanted to answer honestly but i didn't want to sound stupid. " I hope so." I giggled a little. And then Louis cut my giggle off. 

     " And who would you compare your voice to?" I didn't really know. I didn't think i was good enough to be compared to any one." I don't really know." He smiled and then said. " And what will you be singing for us today?"  I gripped the microphone remembering that i had to sing. " Vienna by Billy Joel ."  Then Simon said. " When you'r ready." 

       The music began to play and i just let the word slip out of my mouth. When i finish with the first verse i looked over to Simon whowas smiling i took that as a good sighn. Then i felt the nerves just slip away from me. I belted out every note as it need to be and then when i finally finished and looked out to the crowd everyone was standing. Even the judges.

         " Well Naomi i am at a lose for words. That was amazing can see you going far. Well let get straight to the voting. Louis?" Louis smiled at me and i knew what he was going to say and i had to smile back. " Yes."  Then the next judge said yes as well. I was so happy i was going to boot camp i couldn't believe it." Well Naomi look at that you have 3 humongous yeses." I could contain my self i let out a happy scream and thanked them.

                                The Next day:

           I finished the dancing and i thought it went really well know i was about to sing for the judges again. But this time i was singing something different. I was going to sing Free Fallen by John Mayer. When i got up to the stage i smiled and waved to the judges. Then the music began to play and sung once more for them. 

      When i finished i just walked off given the fact they weren't going to comment or anything i was so nerves. When we were all called into a line i waited there for my named to be called. Many names had already been called and there was only one slot left.I felt the tears coming down my face as the last name was called. 

                                                ( End of Flash Back)

          I slowly walked off the stage not stopping for anything. I sat in a corner and began to cry. I didn't know why i was so upset it's not like i knew i would actually get really far i knew i wasn't good enough i just set my self up disappointment. I guess i should learn from this. I got up and wiped the tears away i was done crying things always happen for a reason maybe i just wasn't meant to be a singer. I can live with it.

        I gathered all of my things and waited out side for a cab to come get me. Then a man came out of the build in and said to me. " Are you Naomi Jacobs?" I nodded. " Then judges need you would please come with me." I was confused. Maybe they were going to put me into a group like they did with Little Mix and One Direction. But i don't think i would be good a group let alone a girl group. I didn't want the drama let alone they would all probably all sound a billion times better . And they probably think i was awkward.

         But when i got there i was by my self on the stage again just staring at the judges. " Naomi nice to see you again i'm so sorry you didn't make it through." Simon said to me is this what they did to everyone just say sorry that's probably why i was called in. " It's ok i guess it's just how it was meant to be." He nodded to me and then began to speak again. " Naomi can you please do me a favor and sing me a One Direction song." I was so confused why would he have such a strange request.

     " I don't understand why would you wan"- Simon cut me off. " Just do it please." I nodded and sand More Than This. When i finished and looked over to the judges they all nodded to each other. " So you know One Direction." Simon said to me. " Yea i like their music." He nodded and then spoke again. " Are you a obsessed or fan-girl over them." I raised an eyebrow. " No i just listen to their music." He nodded to the other judges and told me to follow him.

          " Can you please come to my studio tomorrow at 9 am. And no later if i were you i would come early." I was still so confused. " But I don't understand Simon." She told me that everything would be figured out with time and just be there when he told me. I agreed and just left.
