"What do you mean father is missing!" yelled Blossom while smashing her hands on the table. "How can the most informed and don't forget, the most important man of whole Highland be missing?!" She stood up angry.

"Blossom.."

"No, mom," she said perfectly calm before her anger snapped once again. "How?! Explain it to me?!" Blossom looked at her father's portrait. Meanwhile, Amethyst was in shock. She couldn't believe it.

Great..

The only man who truly knows who I am, is missing...

"Did we hear anything yet? Is anyone holding him for ransom? The Wind..did they?" asked Amethyst in panic.

"That is what scares me the most.." Avrilla was about to cry but she wiped away her tears before anyone could see it. "We heard nothing."

"Avalon The Great, it is an honour."

Slowly, Avalon opened his eyes. He had been unconscious for a while. He saw that his kidnapper had tied him up. He couldn't see who exactly his kidnapper was.

"Where am I? Who do you work for? And who the hell are you?"

The kidnapper walked up to him. You could see his face now, it was Hans, in another disguise. He looked like an assassin.

"Highland, The Wind, Hans will do," he smiled.

"The Wind, huh? But you are from here, I can hear it in the way you speak, son."

Hans slapped him.

"I'm not your son. My dad died because of you in the war." Hans spit on the ground. "Fuck Highland. Fuck you."

"Do you really think you are one of them, boy? Do you think this will help you?"

"Your death will help me."

Avalon didn't look surprised by Hans' words. He expected this to happen ever since The Fairy War started, even when it ended.

"So, why am I still alive, lad? Too weak to do the job yourself?"

Aggressively, Hans grabbed Avalon and pushed him in the back of his wagon. He put a towel in his mouth.

"You will see, Avalon The Great." Hans shut down the doors of the wagon and locked it.

"Not so fast."

Hans felt a blade on his throat. He turned around and saw lieutenant Norman.

"The moment I heard King Avalon was missing and that a cadet named Ned was found in a cabin tied up, I thought of the 'Ned' I met. Who are you really boy?!"

Hans observed the location. He saw that Norman brought no one else.

"Listen Norman, you seem like a wise guy. We can split the money that The Wind will be paying us."

Norman thought about the offer a second. He hesitated. There was a huge bounty on Avalon's head in the northern and western lands.

"No! I'm not a traitor like you!"

Hans sighed, "I liked you, Norman. So, I am sorry."

"Sorry for what?! I have you-"

Hans stabbed Norman with his own blade into his throat. Norman fell down on the ground. He was bleeding to his death. Hans sat down next to him.
