It's christmas eve and as expected my parents are not here. I understand that they have a very important business to take care of. But they never failed to video call me whenever ocassions such as this pass when I'm not with them. Our conversations had been nothing but their sweet pampering trying to coax me not to throw a tantrum. Honestly I don't know what they're worrying about. It's not like I don't understand that everything they're doing is for me.

I ended the video call with good night and immediately went to bed early. I already ate dinner the kitchen chef provided me with prior. Speaking of which, I'm the only one in our residence at this time. I had all our employees sent on a christmas vacation. I don't mind being home alone that's why I sent them all home the day before. But I immediately came to bemoan on that decision as there were things that I could not do on my on like household chores and cooking. And so when I received such a strange letter, I ruled it out as my parents' way of comforting me in my current distress. I most definitely need someone to do the cooking. Pre-cooked food is not tasty and don't get me rambling about fastfood.

I woke up to a white christmas morning. This year's snow is really white and soothing to look at. I should go get my breakfast. But I remembered that the staff are not due to come back until three days. Should I just stay in bed? No. I must not succumb to these lazy ideals.

And so after a great battle of desire and necessity, I made my way towards the kitchen. I passed by the hallway and so happen to pass by the living room to which I noticed an unsual guest.

A tall lad that looks like a few years older than me. He was standing in the middle of the living room. He was wearing a winter coat and carrying a suit case. Only one thing is weird. Is this a throwback of Halloween? Why does he have pointy ears?
