Hi guys! Ugh, school started back, and I'm swamped with homework. Not really, I barely have anything to do, but I hate work, so I call it swamped.
Anyway, no real author's note today, just saying hi.
Also, I'm sorry this is so short, but it would have taken me forever to make it longer, and it just seemed like a good place to end the chapter. But, I'll try to have chapter three up ASAP!
Enjoy!

"Why don't you love me?" I screamed at him.
"Because I just don't. Why are you so hung-up on me anyway? Can't you see this was all a joke? It was a one-time fling. I got what I was after in the first place, now it's done. Get over it," he replied, emotionless.
"I can't! Don't you see that this was real for me?" I said weakly, tears coming to my eyes now.
"Why can't you just leave me alone?" he yelled, getting annoyed.
"Because you're everything I have left! I gave up everything for you, god-dammit!" I screamed at him. "I gave up my friends, my family, my entire fucking life! All for you, and this is how you repay me?"
"Well I'm sorry you were so naïve," was all he said before turning on his heels and walking away, just as the rain started to pour.
I shot up in my bed, sweat trickling down my back, my lungs gasping for air. It was still dark, so when I looked at the clock on my bedside table, it was no surprise that it read 2:27 am. I dropped my head into my hands, groaning from the memories that flooded my head from that single dream. I tried to push them back, but the more I pushed, the more memories flowed into my brain. I decided that going downstairs to get some change of scenery was a good idea.
I lightly padded out of my room and descended the glass spiral stairs. I'd gotten pretty used to living with the boys - or One Direction, as they're known better as. Sure, living in a four-bedroom apartment with five rambunctious teenage boys can get hectic sometimes, but at least I'm never bored. I grabbed a glass from the cupboard and filled it with water from the tap.
I put the glass down after taking a few sips and groaned again, my head starting to hurt from all the effort of keeping the memories at bay.
"Kat? What's wrong?" I heard one of the boys say. I lifted my head from where I had rested it against the counter to look at whoever it was. It was Liam. He was standing in the doorway of the kitchen, looking uncertain as to whether to help me or not.
"Hey, Li. I'm fine, just go back to bed," I whispered, scared that too much noise would make the throbbing in my head worse. I slowly put my head back down on the counter, the cold granite soothing the pain a bit.
"You don't seem fine. Is there anything I can do?" he asked quietly.
I was about to refuse, tell him that I was fine, but the pain somehow multiplied. "Ugh, yeah. Can you get me some painkillers? Actually, no. bring me the whole damn bottle."
He chuckled and I could hear his footsteps as he went to the downstairs bathroom, the one with all the medicinal things in it. A few moments later, a hand with two small white pills popped into my line of vision. I straightened myself and took the pills from his outstretched hand, wincing from the pain the movement caused.
After I greedily gulped down the pills, they almost immediately started taking effect. "Geez, what pills did you give me, ones that were made by a wizard to be super-fast-acting?" I said, shocked. Suddenly, the pain hit me again like a ton of bricks - being carried by a Mac truck. My knees gave out and I waited for the impact of the cold tile floor, but it never came. Instead, I felt an arm around my back and another going under my legs, lifting me off the ground.
