You smiled to yourself as Ace's car pulled up into a parking space, overlooking the city of Castle Rock in all its glory with lights sparkling everywhere.

You and Ace had only really just started seeing each other after he'd pretended to be your boyfriend to stop a guy hitting on you. You'd only kissed him but you knew he wanted more. He was Ace Merrill for God's sake, of course he wanted more.

But for some reason he was different with you. He could still act like a jerk in front of his other friends but when it was just the two of you, a sweeter side came out of him.

"So why have you brought me up here?" You asked.

He shuffled closer and looped his arm around your neck. You snuggled into him and looked out at the sparkling lights below.

"I'm allowed to take you wherever I want." He replied, in his deep voice, leaning in and snuggling into your neck.

You giggled slightly and placed your hand on his chest.

"You can I just wanted to know why." You asked.

He pulled away and looked out over the city.

"Thought you'd like the View." He mumbled

You nodded. "I do. I do."

You smiled and looked out. Just then you saw the flashing blue light of a police car. Leaning forward you pointed at it.

"Blue light!" You shouted.

Ace stared at you in disbelief.

"Sorry." You mumbled quietly, leaning back in the chair.

"No it's fine. Just curious what the hell that was?" He asked.

"You call out whenever you see a flashing blue light. Technically it's 1-0 to me." You said.

He raised his eyebrow at you, looking at you strangely before looking back out at the city.

You silently cursed yourself as your head dropped. What an idiot. You've just completely embarrassed yourself in front of Ace freaking Merrill. The guy you've obviously trying to impress.

"Blue light." You heard him mumble next to you.

You looked up at him as he pointed out. Following his finger you saw a blue light driving away. You smiled at him as he smiled back.

You slowly looked into his deep eyes before you felt yourself lean in. He followed before you felt his lips connect with yours.

You felt his hands grip onto your waist as he tried pulling you onto him. The pair of you fidgeted about before it ended with you straddling his lap.

You're arms laced around his neck as he kept a firm grip on your waist.

"This blue light game isn't as bad as I thought." He mumbled, between kisses.

You pulled away and smirked at him.

"This isn't how the game works you know." You whispered.

"I've added my own twist." He mumbled before pulling your lips back down to him.

From that day on you both took a weekly trip up to the View to play both of your versions of the 'blue light' game.
