Arthur's POV

When I open my eyes I see we are in front of Lovino's door. I let go of Francis's hand immediately. I knock on the door as I heard shuffling from inside. Lovino was the one who opened the door. He studied the situation we were in and immediately ushered us in. I set Alfred down on the couch and sat next to him.

"What the hell happened!?" Lovino demanded an explanation. We explained the whole thing and Lovino and Antonio listened closely. Lovino sighed and stood up. He walked over to Alfred and checked him out. "What are you doing?" I asked the jealousy in my voice clearly showing. "Don't worry. I'm just seeing if he needs healing anywhere. You say he's been shot, but I don't see any wounds to prove that," Lovino sat back down as he noticed there was nothing to heal. "Yeah well. You see Arthur is a..." Francis wanted to explain, but was cut off by groaning.

I immediately turn to look at Alfred as I see him rubbing his temple. "What...happened? Arthur..." He turned to look at me. I hugged him immediately and he slowly hugged back. "I'm so sorry Alfred..." I apologized into the soft fabric of his jacket. He looks at me confused. "For what...?" He asked. "For getting you into this," I hugged him more tightly. "You aren't at fault for this. Liam is," Alfred reassured kissing my forehead softly. After a while of silence we broke the hug.

"How am I even here right now?" Alfred asked looking at Francis questioningly. "As I was trying to say. You're here because Arthur healed you. Before you ask, no, humans can't heal, but angels can," Francis explained as I quickly connected the dots in my head. "I'm an angel?" I asked surprised. "Indeed. On your mom's side you are an angel. On your dad's side though... You're a demon as well," Francis explained. Suddenly the door bursts open. "Is everyone here? Is everyone alright?" We recognized the familiar Prussian accent.

Gilbert and Matthew sat next to Alfred and I. We listened to Francis explaining it again. "Wait how do you know this?" I asked suspiciously. I heard Francis sigh sadly. "Gilbert and Antonio. Remember the time when I snuck out on a daily and told no one why. And then I disappeared completely for a few months and came back sad and depressed. And then I told you about my one true love," Francis asked, looking at Antonio and Gilbert sadly and they nodded.

"And Lovino. You might remember an angel called Jacqi," Francis looked at Lovino and Lovino nodded in response. "She was my best friend, but she disappeared and rumor has it, she fell in love and that lover she loved and trusted so much killed her coldheartedly, without remorse. She was never heard from again. I couldn't leave my room for months after her disappearance," Lovino shared his story as I see Francis wince.

"And Gilbert remember when you wanted to run off with Elizabeta or Eliza I told you the story of how I escaped for a day and came back totally in love with a girl I met under a beautiful tree. And how that story ended tragically," Francis gestured to Gilbert and Gilbert slowly nodded his head at the memory.

"Well Arthur... The girl I met on that faithful day is your mother," he looked back in my direction as my eyes widen. "Wait so your saying..." I wanted to start, but Francis cut me off. "That I'm your father? Yes I am," Francis replied. I stare at him wide eyed as I feel tears stinging my once dry eyes. "Why didn't you tell me?! What did you do to my mother?! Why... Why did you leave me?!" I screamed and choked on my sobs. "I'm sorry Arthur... I didn't know how you would react," Francis apologized as Alfred tried to calm me down by holding me close to his chest and rubbing my back in a soothing motion. "Arthur at least deserves an explanation," Alfred demanded. "Let's start by the beginning then..."
