Chapter 11

Adam's POV

I sat down in the guestroom, "I'll go get the others." Said Seto, then left the room. I looked around aimlessly as I waited. 

I finally heard the door open. Ty, Jason, Jerome, Mitch, Quentin, Ian and Seto walked in. Everyone sat down somewhere except Seto, who stood in front of us.

"What is it?" Jason asked. 

Seto closed his eyes, then took a deep breath. He opened his eyes as he spoke. "I told Alex about your guys' powers."

I froze and my eyes widened. The room was silent for a brief moment.

"What the hell, Seto!" Ian finally said. The shouting began.

"You just put us in danger!"

"What if she tells someone?"

"What if she turns us in?"

"Seto, you're a freaking idiot!"

"Guys, I'm sure he had a reason!"

I stayed silent. Seto was smart. I knew he had a reason. I also knew something was up with Alex.

"CALM DOWN!" Seto finally shouted. The room became silent once again.

Seto took another deep breath. "Alex is just like you guys. She has ice powers. That's why I told her. She knew what it felt like, and she knew not to tell."

People exchanged glances for a bit.

"S-So, the ice on my door was made by her?" Mitch asked.

Seto nodded. "Yes, it was." He said.

Someone screamed, then glass broke. Everyone froze. Seto looked among us, then ran out the door. Conversations began.

"What was that?"

"Did someone break in?"

"Did something happen to Alex?"

I didn't even bother talking to someone. I sprung up and ran after Seto.

Alex's POV

I climbed over the fence and into the forest behind Adam's house. There were tall pine trees blocking out any source of light. It was still pouring, so the forest was damp and freezing. I liked the cold, though.

I looked back and fourth, then ran into the wilderness. I didn't bother looking back. If I did, I would be lured into the house. Tears screamed down my face, fell off, froze, and landed on the ground like pebbles. I had to run away from the only people who might help me.
