Spoby forever

Chapter 5

In about 3 days my parents are suppose to be home. That gives me and toby only a few days to be alone.

I didn't even notice toby walk in, I was so,caught up in my own thoughts. "Hey babe" he said walking in from the front door. I jumped off the counter of the kitchen to meet him in the middle of the living room. We both leaned in for a kiss, of course I have to stand on my toes just to reach him.

We kissed once, then twice, and a third. I just barely noticed that my parents walked in right as I was in the middle of kissing him. We both jumped. My parents looked furious. "I thought I told you no boys?" And with that, toby left before things got more awkward then they already are.

"Guys" I began, "toby is my boyfriend" My parents were shocked and mad all in one. "Go to your room young lady, I don't feel like talking about this right now" my dad said in a stern voice.

I did what I was told and walked up stares to my bedroom and plopped down on my bed with a sigh. I swear they overreact, only with me because Melissa is the perfect child out of the two of us. I just don't understand why they got so mad. They are hiding something from me, I know it.

I heard faint footsteps coming closer and closer. I could tell that it was my mother because of the gentle pattern her footsteps made. "Hey spencer?" She said as she nervously walked into my room as sat on the bed beside me. I gave her a look telling her to continue. "I want you to know that we are okay with you and toby" she paused for a minuet "we only have a few more hours until we leave again"

"Wait leave where?" I'm confused now. She hesitated, "your father and I will be going to Texas for work and Melissa will be in England with wren. We will be gone for about a month" I frowned. My mother was being brave, she was calm about it but I could tell she wasn't enjoying this.

*The Next Morning*'

I closed the door after I watched my parents leave with Toby beside me. I lay my hand in his chest with one dramatic sigh as he rapped his arms around my shoulders in a comforting way. "It will be okay" he started "as long as you have me" obviously he was trying to cheer me up with a joke, and it's working. I giggled and toby chuckled right after.

"So what do you want to do today" he asked, spinning me around so I'm facing him. We starred at each other for at least an entire minuet before saying anything.

"Ummm well I want to do something different" he spoke up. Clearly he had something in mind that he wasn't telling me about. "Well lead the way!" I playfully pushed him towards the front door. We jumped in his truck and toby led the way. First he drove into town, then he drove farther out. At first I was confused but then I remembered.

Toby was always talking about taking me to a special place, whatever that could possibly be. He never actually told me the name or anything like that. All he would say is that it's an amazing place and I HAVE to go there.

Toby's P.O.V

I really think spencer will love it. It's not extremely fancy or anything like that but I'm almost positive she will love it. I can hardly wait to see her expression! Next to me, she looks excited and nervous all in one. I really hope she loves it, I mean she has to right?
