Well the title pretty much explains this chapter. But anyways, sorry for all the delays- and then just this much but hey, it’s 6 pages in Calibri font 14- they’re because of minor, um… setbacks. For instance the whole deleting of this book- Don’t cry, I had it on a recovery disk which I found after a scavenger hunt through my cupboard- and ‘stuff’ (I say ‘stuff’ because I don’t want to hold you from the chapter any longer) anyways, this one goes out to ClarissaNG my fan and reader. Thanks for all the support so far! Vote, Comment and Like and maybe I’ll upload a little faster ;-) Just a tip because happy Simran works faster…

I shake my head in objection to everybody,

“I really can’t!” I tell them “I-I’m not used to drinking”

“Oh come on! Just one drink won’t hurt anyone” Captain Morgan guffaws and I shrink back slightly.

Geez… Eduardo, where are you right now? I sob internally and finally give in to the crowd throwing my sisters a dark look, traitors. Won’t even help me, oh I’m going to get them back-

Because of the Sirius surrounding me so tightly, when somebody stumbles slightly the beer quickly rushes into my mouth and I quickly swallow the bitter liquid in fear of choking on it. It feels warm but the bitter taste lingers on my tongue, I want to gag but settle for a coughing fit instead.

“Sis?” Mira asks pushing through as everyone laughs and I stare at her for a few seconds,

“Mm… Hold still will you?” I frown at her.

Mira quickly grabs my shoulders and steadies me,

“Uh, are you… drunk?” she asks with the slightest hint of a smile on her face and I shake my head.

“I’m not drunk! It’s just… everything’s so- it keeps on moving!” I mutter gripping onto the side of the ship.

“Is she okay?” Lola exclaims and I shake my head,

“I’m fine” I slur and stumble off to my room.

Ah… everything feels so fuzzy and weird…

Mira’s P.O.V.

“Do you…”

“Think she’s drunk?” Lola completes for me and I nod “I’m positively sure. Oh well, Eduardo can handle that don’t you think?” she asks with a smile and I catch the mischievous glint in her eyes,

“Definitely! I’m surprised she actually gave in to the pressure”

“I think it’s the good mood” Lola giggles and I offer a smile hoping it’s enough.

My eyes find Nathan and I suddenly want to go and hug him but shake my head. No, definitely no. If I say anything now I’ll sound like a complete idiot. I internally face-palm myself and, as soon as I’m done talking to Lola head over to the very end of the Sirius’ ship.

I stare down at the waves formed as the Sirius treads through the water. How long has it been since we’d left Yamato… since our adventure with the Sirius began? Five months? Six? A year possibly? I let my cheek slide off of my palm and rest it against the cool wood of the ship.

I sigh and shiver slightly against the cold wind that passes by and feel someone embrace me from behind. I look up and find myself staring into Nathan’s beautiful brown eyes,

“It gets cold out” is all he says before leaving me with a blanket draped around my shoulders.

I hug it tightly around me and bring it to my face.

“Warm…” I mutter.

Leave it to him, I think, to be able to make me want to reconcile so quickly. Maybe I won’t be so stubborn after all.
