I told Liz what I did to Jeff, making her give me a short, small smile filled with amusement. "You beat him up, for me?" The red head kept asking, with me nodding. "How did you learn how to fight?" Liz questioned, cocking her head to the side and wiping a stray tear away with her hand.

"My dad used to... Fight with me, ever since I turned fourteen. So eventually, I learned to fight back, defending myself." I just said, my roommates sensing not to ask anymore about my dad or any subject related to him.

"I know what will cheer you completely up, Liz!" Rachel squealed, jumping up off of Liz's bed, which she was sitting on while comforting our little red head friend, while I beat up the idiot who calls himself a man, when he knows no self defense.

"What? How?" Liz sniffled, her face still splotchy red from crying, and her make-up seeming to be everywhere on her face.

"Come on. You used to love this Liz." Rachel tugged on Liz's hand, helping her up, and I got up to follow the two girls.

We walked out of the house, going up to a wire gate, Liz and I closing our eyes, requested by Rachel. "Ok, open them!" She laughed, removing her dark brown hand from our arms, no longer needing to guide us because we made it to the destination.

We opened our eyes, blinking in the sunlight, making me sneeze, but then looking at the sight in front of me.

Teenagers were talking, laying on the grass and such, a few kids on phones. But what captured my amazement was the kids flying, each having beautiful wings that had the most colorful colors. There were only a few flyers with duller wings, but their flying was amazing. People were doing flips, a lovely couple were flying around eachother, flying high up into the light blue sky.

I watched in amazement at the tall, brick school, with all the special teenagers that had wings in the world. I suddenly felt the urge to fly up with the others, becoming one of the crowd, but remembered how much I hated crowds, and I was also with Liz and Rachel, I couldn't just leave Rachel with such a mess. I'm not that mean.

"Remember, this was the first place you brought me when I came here?" Rachel asked Liz, making them both smile at the memory.

"I also dumped my strawberry smoothie on you out here." Liz added, trying to hold in a laugh.

Rachel gave Liz a teasingly glare, then they started laughing together, Jeff forgotten.

I awkwardly stood there, watching my roommates laugh, and decided I was going to go for a walk. I jogged off, unnoticed. I opened the large steel gate, simply grabbing onto a bar and pushing, then started down the street on my right.

I walked for a while, and came into a part of the town that I didn't know even existed. I paused, and thought about going in or not, choosing to explore, and kept walking to it.

I looked at the walls, seeing strange writing on it, with random pictures, making me want to just fly back to the school. But curiosity got the best of me, and I kept going.

As I walked in, I saw a few people that looked quite homeless watch me, but stay in the shadows, and I nervously carried on.

I watched some people go hide when seeing me, and I knew why. I didn't belong here. I wore bright colors and had bright golden wings, who the hell would talk to a freak like me here? They are all in black and other dark colors, half of the people's clothes were probably stained dark from mud, dirt, and other things I'm not even going to guess.

It was too silent as my feet hit the ground, my footsteps loud compared to this place.

I turned a corner, and walked until I saw the end of the street. But at the end, I saw a group of teenagers, sort of huddled together, smoking. I took a sharp break, quiet, but loud enough to be heard by a person who's quiet and listening.

One of the boys turned to me and I stopped walking, curiously watching the mysterious teenagers.
