The tension caused in that instant was unmeasurable, Hannah was stood and I took the paper and unfolded it, I gave a confused glare at Sarah as I did this. The paper was notebook paper, on it was written ;

'I MIGHT BE NEW HERE BUT DON'T THINK I'M MISS PUNCHBAG, ENJOY GETTING OUT!'
"So? What you gotta say for yourself?" Sarah demanded.

"Well, this wasn't me. I don't know where this came from. I'm telling the truth!" I replied. Hannah put her two cents in at that point.

"Amy has been with me today, plus it's her first day and I haven't even shown her where the showers are yet.".

I shot a glance over to Hannah, thanking her for helping me in what was a very tense situation.
"Well, I know it was you... watch your back Amy" Sarah moaned before storming back out of the room to go down to dinner.

"Hey Hannah?" I called her over to my bed.
She came over still confused about the whole shower situation and sat next to me. All I could do is look at the paper in sheer confusion.
Hannah began; "So what do you think happened then?."

I looked up at her, staring for a second at her eyes before looking back at the paper.

"I don't know, but someone is trying to frame me" we both agreed on this. Getting up and walking on out of the dorm to dinner.

As we walked down to dinner, me and Hannah were met with another girl, one from my netball team. Her name was... Wynter, yes Wynter. She asked if she could join me and Hannah at dinner, to which we of course said "yeah, we'd love you to".

In the queue to dinner we were stood with our trays and we could see a few places in front of us was, yep you guessed it Sarah and her cronies. At first they were just gossiping in a lop sided blob of a group in the line but when Sarah caught my eye, the whole group silenced and she stood there, just for a second. Staring. Before she was called for by the dinner lady. Her name was Judy. She was nice.

Anyway Sarah and the group got sat down and me, Hannah and our new friend Wynter were in the queue about to be served, it was either a roast pork dinner with mashed potatoes or a vegetarian ratatouille. I went with the roast pork as it was barely touched. 'Guess most girls are vegetarians here then hey? Well then, more meat for me'. I think I just nearly vomited writing that. I mean it. It's not funny. Stop it, I see you. Dirty minded me... Ugh.

So yeah, a lot has happened in the day. But it was only to be made so much worse for me. We were sat at the dinner table right? But Sarah sends one of her friends my way and as she passes the table, pretends to trip and causes all of her food and drink to go right over me.

This made me scream. I wish I didn't but it felt like the first reaction. Like an impulse. Then feeling horrid and soaking wet. I stood up looked right at Sarah, who was delighted by their outcome laughing hysterically, and flipped her tray in her face in anger. Before running up to my bed. I remember Hannah running after me shouting for me. But I didn't hear what she said. I was too engulfed by emotions. I decided I don't like being angry.

Because for some reason as you might guess, after I've been angry it makes me really sad. So yeah I cried. Got undressed and into one of the school night gowns and went to the bathroom to wash myself off. Sarah had decided to follow me. Because as I was passing the staircase her friends grabbed both of my arms and she held her hand over my mouth hushing me. I struggled, obviously. But my body couldn't escape the grips of the two butcher looking girls who were grasping my arms. I'm going to add that the sun set about forty minutes beforehand.

They took me outside the building and around the corner of a wall near the pond. Where they couldn't be seen and pushed me into the pond. The freezing cold pond. The nighty was quite heavy and so I was slashing madly screaming at them; "Stop this, I hate you, what the heck". They laughed, Sarah said to me; "you shouldn't be such a bitch then. Welcome to Tulips babe". She walked away and I screamed back as I clambered out of the muddy bank.

"I'm going to get you back for this. I'm going to..."
The door to the building had closed. I was left in the field soaking wet when I heard footsteps from beside me. To my surprise. Hannah was stood there, her eyes full of sympathy for me. She held out her hand and smiled.

"We better be going in Amy, you don't want to be caught out here like this". I took her hand and replied; "But my clothes". Hannah looked at me lifting an eyebrow?
"What about your clothes?" She questioned.
"They're ruined"
I was very breathy when talking like when you've ran a lap only with more disappointment and anger.
"I've got a spare set, my parents made sure I had a few spare of everything when I came here. You'll be fine. It's you're first night here, I want you to have at least a decent night's sleep. You've been awake for quite a while now.

My brain at that time decided what it must do. I looked at Hannah.
"Hannah, do you think this means war, with Sarah and her friends?" I asked her.
"Well if it does, I'll join your army, now come on" she said playfully back "We need to get inside before you catch your death". "What does that mean?" I laughed.

"I don't know, something grownups say". Hannah pulled me inside and as we approached the staircase everything was like it was at the beginning of the day, quiet. With the odd girl in their nighty walking between rooms but still silently.

I could hear my feet squelching and leaving footprints on the floor. Hannah and I went to the room and she helped me dry myself off before giving me one of her spare sets of nightwear. We crawled into bed, with the witch already in her bed and I closed my eyes.
