I tell Coy everything that happened last night. After-all, he is the only person I really talk to now.

"That is a pretty wild adventure you had last night. You sure it wasn't a bear or some type of animal that decided to attack? I mean, we do live in Montana."

I roll my eyes. "No, and I'm tired of getting asked that. It was NOT an animal. This thing was tall and human like." I lean up against the car and cross my arms. "It's whatever, no one believes me. I have another meeting with the police officers in a couple days to do another run down on what happened. It's ridiculous that they couldn't find a single thing..."

"I never said I didn't believe you. It's hard to believe, but not impossible." He grins. "Don't get so worked up over this, you can't change what happened to those guys. Just be glad that it didn't attack you." He stares off.

I look up at him and he reaches in his pocket for a cigarette.

"You have got to be kidding, that is disgusting" I smoosh my face together.

"I'm assuming you don't want a hit?" He laughs and lights it, inhaling the cancer stick.

"You know that isn't appealing right?"

He looks at me and flutters his eyes. "Well I'm not trying to be appealing, I'm trying to calm my nerves." He takes another hit. "Alright I'm leaving, I have places to be."

I stand up straight, realizing I might have made him upset. I go to speak but he cuts me off.

"Thanks for telling me about that though. Glad your safe. Everything will blow over soon." He enters the car and starts the engine. I stand there thinking what the heck just happened. Things will most definitely not blow over. Two guys were mauled alive right in front of me.

When I get home, I head straight for the ice cream in my fridge. Cookie dough is my ultimate favorite and I can honestly eat the whole gallon. I kick my smelly work shoes off and dive straight in. Eating my ice cream is great but I can't stop thinking about those guys I saw get attacked. I feel like it was a scary nightmare that didn't actually happen...do I need to go on medication for this? Or see a therapist? I probably should. I lay back in my bed and look up therapist near me while stuffing my face with the cookie dough deliciousness.

Hours pass and I realize I ate more than half the gallon and ended up on funny dog videos. I take the ice cream back to the freezer. My stomach makes gurgling noises and hurts a little from the dairy. Shuffling back to my room, I flop back onto my bed and look at my schedule on my phone, trying to distract myself from the overload of sugar I just ate and figure out when I can make a trip to see my mom again.

The next morning feels better, I head to the bathroom and wash my face reminiscing my dreams. I had a dream about gaining 200 pounds from eating, but I think that's because of all the ice cream I ate and I had a dream about tornadoes. Such a weird combination of dreams.

I leave the bathroom and decide to pick out something to wear. I want to go with a comfy look today because I'm going to get groceries and there's nothing worse than being uncomfortable while getting food. Sitting at my vanity, I pull my hair up into a high pony tail and seek out my closet.

Yoga pants and an oversize Champion hoodie it is. I grab them from the hanger and throw them on, leaving my pj's rolled up on the floor.

I climb into my car and turn on the radio, the usual music plays twenty times a day. As I pull out of the driveway, I can see the sun is finally shinning and I couldn't be happier. Rolling up to the store it seems busy so I park at the end of the lot and make my way for the big sliding doors.

The store is bright and crowded, it could be because it's right before lunch rush. I get distracted by the flowers to the side and decide to take a peak. There are so many colors, from blues to pinks and even baby yellows! I use to love getting flowers from Dylan. Flowers are the simplest yet kindest jester anyone could ever receive. I decide I can get my own flowers and that they are going to look SO cute in my bedroom, I can place them on my vanity where they will get tons of sunlight. I pick out the pink and yellow ones because they will go with my room the best.

Skipping past the fruits I head straight to the veggies. I love carrots and ranch so I grab a huge bag of them and a couple other cooking veggies for dinners. I'm super excited to have groceries in the house, it's the best feeling and oddly it satisfies me knowing that I can go home and cook instead of spending money out and about.

After a couple hours of shopping, I pack up my car and head home to unload everything. I try to grab every bag I can get so I don't have to make a second trip. Who even makes second trips anymore?

Fumbling with the keys to get my apartment door unlocked, it swings wide open to my roommate talking to her mom loudly on the phone about how she hates lazy people. I'm not one to eavesdrop, but when someone's talking loud on purpose you can't seem to not overhear.

I take my things to the kitchen and start unpacking and neatly organize all my stuff on my side of the fridge. To be honest, I'm pretty satisfied with everything I got.

Once I'm done with my unpacking, I head to my bedroom to place my new flowers on my vanity. They look perfect! I decide to take a breather and check my social medias.

Scrolling through the pages I see drama, politics and dog videos. I also see some wedding pictures of my cousin. She was recently married and unfortunately, I couldn't attend because of school. Seeing these pictures bring joy to me. She wore such a beautiful dress and her husband is a great guy, I'm genuinely happy for her.

While on my phone I get a random phone call from and unknown number, I decide to answer it.

"Hello?" I say curiously.

"Hello, this is Carter from Montana Police Office, are you free this evening to come down for some questions on the 31st case?"

His voice was deep yet welcoming.

"Uh, yes I am. What time?" I look around my room.

"7 PM works if that works for you Miss?"

"Yeah it does. Also...I know I'm not in any trouble but do I need a lawyer to come with me for this? Or someone who is an eye witness for my side?" I nervously ask.

"Oh no no! it's nothing like that. You are totally safe. We want to make sure we have the story correctly and just overall make sure you are safe and doing well."

I softly laugh. "Okay, sounds good I just wanted to double check. Thank you so much Carter"

"Of course, see you at 7" He hangs up.

I sigh and fall back on my bed questioning if I should take a nap now. Tonight might be a long night.
