This is my first fanfiction so sorry if it kinda sucks

For the first time in a long time, I got up for school, hopeful for change. I heard the loud, impatient beep of my alarm clock on my bedside table. I sat up, annoyed, and shut it off quickly, squinting my eyes because of the thick, orange light peering in my window from the morning sun.

I got dressed in whatever outfit I could peel off the floor that didn't smell to awful. I decided against make up, to tired to care, and shook my long, dark waves out of my bun. I started down the stairs of my small house to see my mother lying on the couch. Insistent on me hurrying up.

"C'mon Beth, don't want to be late for school, " she chided annoyingly, " Especially not the first day. "

I didn't think this could really be considered a "first day ". I was a senior after all. I had been at Oak Hills High my entire highschool career. It was fun when I was a freshman, but it was different now. Its became boring, routine, but I was somehow thinking this year would be different.

"Senior year is party year. No one does shit during that year, " I was told by various upperclassmen. I was ready.

I ignored my mother as I walked out the front door of my house. Getting in my truck, I started for school. I like to get there early in the morning. Everywhere was quiet, and the air was cool. Of course nobody besides the teachers were willing to go to school that early, which is why I was surprised to see another car as I pulled into the student parking lot.    Confused, I continued to stare at the car, a vehicle which I hadn't recognized, and noticed a person inside. He looked as if he was napping, but as I saw him stir I stopped and waited for him to exit the vehicle. He was in another truck similar to mine, which was also surprising, because no one in Golden Valley would be caught dead in a car that cost less than $500,000.

As he exited the car, I kind of gasped. He was the most attractive person I had ever seen. He had a strong jaw line, built arms, messy, curly hair, and a walk as if he gave absolutely no shits about anything. I was immediately intrigued as I stepped out of my car and began walking in his direction.
