Ok so I hope this chapter is better and longer than the last one.

As I was approaching the young man before me, I realized I had nothing to say and no reason to approach him. I began to slow down, and look at the ground. I had no idea how close I really was to him until I bumped into his back.
"Oh my god! I am so sorry, I- uh," I stammered quickly out of my mouth.
"Don't worry about it, " he mumbled, rolling his eyes. He turned and walked away, and I started in the other direction, completely embarrassed. I assumed he was another to-good-to-be-true, pretty boy who was a total douche. Then again, he could have just been nervous. I doubted it, though. I was kinda disgusting. Even though he seemed arrogant, I still couldn't help but be interested in him. He just seemed so different from the other boys at my school. He was like a mystery that I couldn't wait to find out.

I had gone through my entire day, all six periods, and had not seen the new kid again once. Of course, I heard others whisper about him in the halls, even my best friend, Andrea, was up on the gossip (as usual) .
"Have you seen that gorgeous new guy ," she asked me excitedly.
"No, I don't think so, " I lied.
"I heard his name is Ashton. Ashton Irwin. Oh my god. Even his name is hot." She went on like this for awhile. Yet, the only thing I knew about this guy was his name. Ashton. That's all I thought about all day.
I walked into my last class of the day, and sat down at my desk. I was tired, dissapointed, and ready to leave. As the teacher began to call out names, I listened closely for my own.
"Kayla Michele."
"Here."
"Elizabeth Rose. "
"I go by Beth, " I said annoyed. This was something I had to tell my new teachers all day.
"And lastly, Ashton Irwin," Mr. Camman called out. I immediately shot my head up in curiosity.
"Here," I heard from a deep voice behind me. Stupidly, I turned around quickly, suddenly finding myself face to face with the young man I had sought after all day. He gave me a confused look. Panicked, I turned back around. I had managed to totally embarrass myself yet again in front of this boy. Yet, I still didn't understand why I cared so much. I convinced myself it didn't matter and said nothing to him the rest of the class.

Throughout the week, I had begun to see more and more of Ashton Irwin. He would still appear as early as me in the mornings, but that wasn't all. He would sit in the quad with me in the mornings, a few tables away but still. After the third day, he would stand a few yards from my locker at break. After the forth day, I would see him sit alone at a table close to where I usually ate. He was always reading the same book, I could never make out the cover. And of course, I saw him everyday in English. Was he possibly following me? Probably not. I dismissed it as a coincidence, and begun to ignore it. Until finally, I couldn't.
