20. Like A Fool

The next morning, Mark arrived a little bit late to the café but he wasn't alone, he brought Momo along with him. They had to take some important documents from the office and head to other city for a meeting so before they take a long day trip, he wanted to grab a drink and greeted Sana.

"Is it just me or is today's weather just so hot I could melt anytime." Jackson approached Sana not long after Mark left the café.

"What are you saying. Summer has passed, it's already September."

"What he's trying to say is, don't show PDA too much because he's too jealous to see you love birds." Wendy came in between them and Jackson just rolled his eyes.

"Don't listen to her, Sana. She just want to make us bicker again."

Sana just giggled seeing Wendy sticking out her tongue to Jackson and left him to continue wiping the glasses.

"So I assume that you two are going out now?" curious, he asked her straight to the point.

"Not really, he said he'll wait for me when I'm ready."

"Well, I can't say much but as your best friend, I just want to remind you that don't make him wait too long and don't give in too much. You'll ended up hurting yourself."

"Jack, I told you I'm fine, and he's okay with it too..."

"Seriously, Sana. Isn't it weird how you let people enter your life so easily? If you're not ready into some relationship, at least don't give him false hope."

"Jackson, relax. Are you on pms or something..." Wendy tried to break the ice seeing how Jackson talked rather loud to Sana, clearly showing his jealousy.

"Yeah, what's gotten into you..."

"Me? No. You, what's gotten into YOU? You and Mark? Together? You guys just met! We never know what's inside that Markie head, what if he's trying to harm you? What if-"

"Hey, stop. Mark's a nice person and he would never-"

"You keep saying that numerous of times, Sana. You even said that to your previous ex, and look what he did to you? You're almost dead on a car crush."

"Jack, why are you bringing out-"

"A CAR CRUSH FOR GOD SAKE, SANA!" This time he couldn't keep his emotion well, he had enough of Sana defending the person he thought wasn't worth of and just yelled at her. "And THAT SAME GUY almost made you trapped into the hole TWICE! Sana, why are you so cheap to every guys you meet. Are you happy that those wild beasts took advantage of you? And I bet that Markie guy will do the same since he-"

Slap!

Jackson was dumbfounded and shocked when Sana slapped hard his now red cheek.

"Enough... Jackson, Enough!" She cried. Her body trembled and seconds later tears were streaming down her eyes.

"I thought you're my best friend... How could you say such a thing? You're very wrong to judge Mark! If he wasn't there I'd really have been dead right now. Killed or suicide. And you, what did you even do when I'm in danger? You... You did NOTHING."

The whole people at the café were watching the scene. Embarrassed, Sana took a deep breath and said, "And tell you what? I hate you, Jackson Wang. I hate you!!" she took off her apron before she walked towards the exit door.

"Sana-"Jackson now felt guilty, he was wrong for saying things he didn't mean to. As he was about to run outside, Mina held his hand to keep him from chasing her.
