Calling Destiny

Chapter 3-The Dark Room

Mia-Kay wakes up, she is tied up to a chair. She can't move at all, all she can do is squirm. She calls for anyone to help. "Help! Somebody help me!" she squirms and wriggles in the chair, the straps restricting her movement. Sometime later a man in a black robe and hood walks in slowly. He takes his hood off and he is revealed as Numinex! Mia-Kay's eyes go wide as she stares at his blood thirsty eyes. Shit, shit, shit! T-that's Numinex! She looks at him in horror. He grins mischievously, his sharp fangs glistening in the light. "What do you want with me, asshole?" she asks. He comes closer to her, his face inches from hers. "Ha-ha... silly girl, you will never know the truth, not while I'm here." He laughs evilly then gets a syringe, fills it with some strange smelling liquid and injects some into Mia-Kay's neck. The liquid turned out to be a drug, making her woozy and hallucinate. She suddenly begins seeing Numinex as a whole other person, not a bad guy at all in fact a good guy. She was hallucinating so much she even thought he was the hottest guy in the world. Numinex un-ties her and she climbs on him with lust and passion. She starts kissing him all over and I do mean ALL over. She grabs him by his collar and takes him to the bedroom. One thing led to another and he's on top of her, panting heavily in the heat of the moment. They undress each other, sweat dripping down every part of their bodies—they become one that night. Those drugs must have worked well, pretty sure that's exactly what Numinex was looking for, he wanted her and he got her. The next morning Numinex got up, grabbed a memory erase potion and made Mia-Kay drink it so this rivalry still existed between them and she wouldn't freak out. He took her to a remote location outside of where they had there "fun" and left her there. Mia-Kay wakes up shortly after he is gone and looks around the area, confused. She quickly gets up and starts walking, not sure where she's going though since she's in the middle of nowhere. "Where the hell am I?!" she exclaimed. She keeps walking and spots a town, it looks...familiar.

. She walks towards the town and spots a house where her long lost partner Kay-Jaw was waiting for her. She begins running to him, her arms reaching out to his. As she gets closer she realized that was not him that was Numinex who was disguised as Kay-Jaw. He smiles at her, she stops and looks at him suddenly remembering what had happened the night before and what they had done together. She mumbled to herself "did I....?" He comes a step closer to her before she interrupts him. "No! Don't come any closer, this wasn't supposed to happen!" she turns away from him and begins walking away tears streaming down her face. Dammit! I can't believe we...did that. Numinex turns to his dragon self and fly's off to his layer. Meanwhile back at the temple Kay-Jaw and Jazargo are trying to find ways to contact Mia-Kay and make sure she was ok. "I'm so worried about her, can you find her Master?" asks Kay-Jaw nervously. "I will try, I am not exactly sure if I can find her." He says. "I will do everything I can to bring her back, don't worry Kay-Jaw." Jazargo assures him. He walks over to a special device this giant bluish grey machine that locates your missing peers or friends or family members. The machine glows a bright neon blue when Jazargo touches it. There's a flash of light and as the light disappears Jazargo and Kay-Jaw can see her location clear as day. They see her walking alone on a dusty trail not far from her Numinex looms in the distance. He has a strange creature with him, it looks like a half dog and half demon with black fur and red eyes. This is the creature Mia-Kay saw in her dream, the one that attacked her in it as well. This creature was dark and dangerous, it will kill with no mercy or remorse it feels little pain and takes little damage. Mia-Kay stops dead in her tracks and turns around. Her eyes widen when she sees Numinex then her eyes widen even more when she sees the creature. "What...? That's the thing I saw in my dream!" she exclaims. Numinex mumbles some strange un readable words to the creature and it begins running straight for her. Mia-Kay was quick to act and shoots it with her bow before long she begins running from it realizing this creature is unlike anything she has fought before. She's cornered, she got backed into the corner of a dead end. It runs at her teeth snapping violently. She raises her hand and time freezes before her. Woah! Did... did I do that? She walks around the creature stuck in mid-air and laughs. "This is awesome! I can freeze time now! Let's see if I can..." she walks a little ways away from the creature and raises her hand again this time reverses and the creature is far away from her along with Numinex. Time un freezes and they both look completely confused, they looks around for Mia-Kay but she is no longer in their sights. Back at the temple Kay-Jaw and Jazargo are looking at Mia-Kay in amazement, complete awe with what they just saw. "She has amazing powers, when do you think she learned to do that Master?" asks Kay-jaw. "I-I am un sure." Says Jazargo still in shock with what he saw. "I need to go find her Master, I know exactly where she is now!" he says then hurry's out the door of the Temple that is after grabbing his equipment, can't leave without armor and a sword and other supplies. Hours later Mia-Kay and Kay-Jaw finally meet up with each other, they share a warm embrace. "Oh my god, I have missed you so much Kay-Jaw. Why didn't you come find me sooner?" she asks. "Well... um, we had a slight problem trying to find you that's all." He smiles warmly then hugs her once more. "And I've missed you too Mia." They begin walking back towards the Temple together before being confronted by the very thing that got them separated, Numinex.
