Calling Destiny

Numinex stands just a few arm lengths away from Kay-Jaw and Mia-Kay, he grins and sends a few of his minions after them. Suddenly out of nowhere fire and frost shoot from a nearby place, who could that be? The person steps out of hiding and reveals herself. Her name is Akali, she's a mage and she's a demon. Akali has shoulder length, light purple hair and gold colored eyes. She wears mage robes like the ones you may see in the old fantasy movies, if you were to watch them. She finishes off the minions in no time, shouting them away (literally, she has the power to shout at them with different elements). Shortly after she introduces herself to Mia-Kay and Kay-Jaw, she looks at them with literally no expression. "Hello, I am Akali and I will be helping you on your Journey." She kneels down and bows her head respectfully. "Nice to meet you Akali, but how do you know we can trust you?" Says Mia-Kay sternly. "I can help you, please trust me. I wouldn't be here if I didn't want to help you." Akali tries to explain herself. "Well I guess so, you may come along with us." Says Mia-Kay. Kay-Jaw nods towards Akali in approval. They begin walking to the temple once again with Akali behind them keeping her guard up in case of trouble. Eventually they all make it to the temple un-scathed where Jazargo awaits, He's pacing the floor anxiously. He looks up at them as the temple doors open, "Kay-Jaw and Mia-Kay! Welcome home!" he says happily. "Uh, who is this young lady?" ask Jazargo curiously. "Oh um this is-"Mia-Kay gets interrupted by Akali, "hello, Sensei I am Akali Mesko. I accompanied Mia-Kay and Kay-Jaw and I helped them fend off Numinex when they got attacked earlier." She bows bending down on one knee, looking up shortly after for Jazargo's approval. Jazargo looks at Mia-Kay for her side of what had happened. "It's true, she helped us! We are forever in her debt." Mia-Kay smiles warmly towards Akali. Akali blushes and looks down, smiling secretively. "I will always be here to protect her, Sensei." Akali looks up her face still slightly red. "That's good to hear, Akali. Welcome to Temple Kilo-way." Jazargo Bows then smiles. "Ok, we need to figure out how we are going to defeat Numinex. Once and for all" says Jazargo. "But, How? He's too powerful! We could die! Mia-Kay could die! She's the only one with the ability to defeat him." Says Kay-jaw, he paces back and forth anxiously. "Don't worry Kay-jaw we have Alkali now as well." Says Mia-Kay reassuring him. "Ok, uh let's get to training!" says Kay-jaw enthusiastically. Everyone except Kay-jaw let out a groan. He sighs, "Fine let's do something else then." Suggests Kay-Jaw. Akali steps in, "how about we go and beat some bandits up!" they all look at each other, nodding in agreement. "Sounds like a plan, Akali." Mia-Kay smiles. They all head outside and start searching. "Oh, everyone! There's some gold in it if you kill a whole bandit gang." Says Jazargo. They look in his direction and cheer. "Woo!" says one. "Yay!" says another. And the last says "awesome!" they all head out to the location of the bandits. Akali kills one, then 2, then 3! Mia-Kay steps in and uses her powers to kill a bunch. Kay-Jay spins around slashing several with his trusty sword. "Mia! Go take care of the Bandit Chief uh the leader!" calls Kay-Jaw. Mia-Kay nods and runs towards the tent that the bandit chief is in. she takes her bow out and channels the fire into her bow. She slowly walks in the tent watching for him, moments later she spots the bandit chief a few feet ahead of her. She draws her bow and takes the shot. She hits him in the back, he yelped and turned around spotting Mia-Kay right away. Ok, we are going to fight now huh? She takes her dagger out slashing him multiple times. He falls to the ground, still slightly alive but his heal is extremely low. Time for the final blow! She grabs him by his shirt and stabs him in the chest, his life ends instantly. She walks out covered in the bandit chief's blood. "It's done, I need to wash up now." Says Mia-Kay smiling. They all walk home, tired and dirty but they all get well rewarded and earn 1,000 gold each. "Well done everyone! I'll go get us all some delicious food." Says Jazargo happily. Mia-Kay, Kay-Jaw and Akali flop down to the ground exhausted, they look at each other smiling. They did a wonderful job and they knew it. "Oh my god, that was exhilarating. We got to do this more often!" says Akali. Mia-Kay and Kay-Jaw nod in agreement. Soon time passes, its closer to the night; Mia-Kay and Kay-Jaw were still up, talking about their days and how much they missed one another. While they were busy, Akali snuck out, she was on her way to see her father. She gets to the giant castle where her father awaits, she bows getting on one knee and says "I am back with the Bow, Father. I am sorry it took so long." He grins and says, "My lovely daughter please call me by my name, call me Numinex." She gets up bows apologetically. "Sorry, Numinex." She pauses for a second. "How much longer must I stay with Mia-Kay? How much longer must I spy on the enemy?!" she screams. He screams back at her. "Until I say you can come back! Until she is dead! Until the prophecy has been completed! Once I have her blood in my hands I can finally come to my full power, I can take over the world with her blood!" he laughs evilly. "With this bow, this beautiful black bow and her blood I can block out the sun, cause chaos on the world and rule it." He takes the bow and puts it in a special case, it gets locked into another room, just to be on the safe side. "Go, go back to HER and keep an eye on her, also please dear keep me updated this time. Last time I got nothing out of you." She stammers, "y-yes, Numinex..." she runs off back to the temple while Numinex laughs and watches Mia-kay through a special glass orb. Akali sneaks back into the temple—or tries to, she gets caught by Kay-jaw. "Where have you been, Akali?" she freezes. "I... uh... I had to go for a morning walk, yeah! I just like the fresh air in the morning that's all! Hahaha... Uh got to go!" she runs off to the bathroom. "Hmm...seems kind of suspicious but meh, im only the swordsman so I don't know a lot." He walks outside whistling. Later on Mia-Kay wakes up, brushes her hair, gets dressed and goes outside where Kay-jaw was waiting. "Morning Kay-Jaw" she says happily. He kisses her forehead, "so, what are we doing today?" he asks. She thinks for a moment. "Plan are next move, we need to talk to Master." She calls Jazargo over. "Master, what's our next move on Numinex?" Jazargo looks un easy at Mia-Kay. "Well turns out there's this bow we need but it's in Numinex's lair..." he holds some sort of scroll behind his back. "Oh shi- what's that behind your back Master?" Mia-Kay snatches it from him before he gets to say anything about it. He sighs, "This is an Elder Scroll Mia-Kay it will help you through your journey to Numinex and also it will help you get to the Black Bow; the bow you need to get in order to stop him. But be warned when in his layer please be careful, if your blood comes in contact with the bow or with Numinex you will possibly not be able to stop him." She nods. "Got it." "Kay-jaw, you and Akali will begin the fight to defeat Numinex and Mia-Kay can use her powers to finish him off." He nods and motions for Akali to come over. "Akali you will be helping us, kill Numinex, got it?" she looks down. "Uh... guys, Numinex is... he's my father. But I think I would rather kill him than you, it won't be easy but im willing to do whatever it takes to keep Mia-Kay safe." She smiles warmly. "Good, I'm glad Akali. Ready to go?" asks Mia-Kay. Akali nods. "Be careful everyone, remember what I told you about her blood and what could happen if-"Kay-jaw puts a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, we will keep her safe for you." He smiles. "Thank you. Kay-jaw." Jazargo watches them as they walk down the dirt road down the mountain.
