A girl sat at her desk waiting for the lesson (math) to start when an unfamiliar boy walked through the doorway. He had a mane of shaggy black hair and grey mysterious eyes. They were like two pools of water that you felt as though you sink in if you looked into them for long enough.
Their eyes met and he immediately knew she was his target. The day before he had been set a target, a target named Orchid Sather. Before this day he hadn't thought she would look like this. Her innocent olive green eyes washed a feeling of guilt over him. Her wavy black curls of hair ran down her shoulders and her mouth was curled into a smile. It was time for him to make his move.
'Hey.' She gave him a friendly grin.
'Hi. Are you new?' she asked.
'Yeah, I'm Jason'
'I'm Orchid'
This was definitely her. How could he rid the world of such an innocent girl though? But he needed that money to pay rent and take care of his little sister. If he didn't do this, she would be living on the streets with no warm comfy bed to sleep in and no food.No excuses. He had to eliminate her...
...but he couldn't help but feel guilty. Imagine being in his shoes, killing people to look after his little sister. It was her or his sister. Her or his sister. She had to go.
'Um... Jason?' He snapped out of his thought bubble.
'Yeah?'
'Are you okay? You kinda zoned out for a minute.'
Before he had chance to reply, the teacher walked in and started the lesson. Jason strolled over to Orchid's desk and sat down next to her.
