SAO ~ How it all began

Chapter 1 - how it all began

Hope you enjoy this fan fiction about Sao!   This is my first time writing one so please don't judge me ;D

~ Saturday ~

The sleepy blonde haired girl woke up extremely tired from a long day of fencing last night. On this warm but windy day, in her tidy room she sat up and saw it was nearly 1:00pm. The blonde haired girl tied her hair up into a long luscious ponytail as her eyes widened. She stretched and got dressed into a lime green sweater and a white skirt. Leafa suddenly jumped as she heard a knock on her door.

 'leafa, are you awake yet? Can I come in?' The black haired boy asked as he knocked in leafa's door.

'Uhhhh.... yeah, hi, umm of course, come in.' Leafa replied to the dark haired boy (her brother) as her face turned as red as a tomato. 

As the black haired boy stepped in leafa sat down at her desk and her brother looked at her in a puzzled way. 

'Are you Ok? Your bright red. You seem embarrassed or stressed or something...?' Her brother asked the red-faced girl.

'What? Me? No... i- i am perfectly fine!' She stuttered.

'Ok. Whatever you say leafa.' The boy laughed. Well i just got out the shower so you can go in there now.' 

'Ok. Thanks kazuto.' leafa replied.

As kazuto (leafa's brother) walked out of leafa's room he stopped and said 'Oh yeah, I think mom left us breakfast on the kitchen counter. She left a note saying she had something important to do so she had to go out. I'll be going out with so my friends of mine too, we're working on this project for computers and cameras so I'll be gone for a while. Are you Ok on your own for a while?' Kazuto asked her sister concerningly

'Yes kazuto, I'm nearly 16, I think I'll be ok on my own for a few hours! You go have fun with your nerdy friends, lunch will be ready when you get back!' Leafa replied to her older brother.

'Ok then. See you soon sis!' Kazuto shut leafa's door, grabbed his motorbike helmet and rode off to his school where him and his nerdy friends were planning on their project.

As soon as kazuto shut the door to her her room, Leafa flopped back on to her bed and took a deep breath.  

Leafa loved kazuto but not just beacuse they were brother and sister but leafa and other feelings for him down deep in her heart. she knew it was wierd to love her brother so she tried to control her feelings for him, but whenever she was around kazuto she turned into a nervous wreck! He heart struck faster than lightning and her face turned bright red. Should she be a good sister or just confess her feelings? Leafa didn't know what to do it now to do it...

She got into the shower and calmed herself. After that, she ate her breakfast and watched TV.

-30 minutes later-

Kazuto rushed through the door sacked his bag down and threw his bike helmet in the floor.

'Kazuto? What are you doing back so early? It's been 45 minutes! Lunch isn't even ready yet! Whats wrong? I thought you had to go see your nerdy friends!' Leafa exclaimed.

'Sorry to startle you sis! The traffic was terrible because of this new 'Sword art online' game so me and friends called it off. We're gonna meet next week. Anyway... look what I got...' Kazuto rummaged through his bag and then froze in embarrassment. 'Actually, I don't think that things any important anymore... heh.' Then he zipped up his bag and rushed upstairs, into his room and locked his doors. 

Kazuto had just brought the new 'Sword Art Online' game but feared to tell his sister beacuse she hated video games and he knew she would not approve neither would his mother.
