SAO ~ How it all began

Chapter 2 - friend or foe?

Enjoy chapter 2. If  you havent read chapter 1 already i would check it out or else this might not make sense as it continues from where chapter 1 left of. 'chapter 1 - how it al began'

After rushing around for 5 minutes trying to find out where that awful scream came from Asuna and Kirito stumbled across a restaurant just outside of the town of beginnings area. Outside of this unusual resturaunt there seemed to be a myserious charecter standing outside of ut they had a white shield with some sort of red cross on it, they had a red and white out outfit a bit like what asuna was wearing , this mysterious charecter had grey hair in a short ponytail and a thin sword in his sword holder. As the mysterious figure turned around he had a stern look to his face and then as he glared at asuna and kirito asuna stared at him and then questioned ' co- commander heathcliff? Is that you?'

'Asuna.... what a lovely surprise...' Heathcliff replied.

'I'm confused asuna... do you know this guy?' Kirito whispered to asuna while trying to figure out how these two knew each other.

Asuna smiled and let out a small giggle... 'Kirito you do make me laugh! Do you remember me saying i was second in command in a guild called the knights if the blood oath? Well, that's Heathcliff, he's part of my guild. We're nothing but friends... Well, I don't even think were friends... He's hard to get along with you don't wanna end up in the wrong side if him. He's a....um...difficult guy.' Asuna exclaimed.

'Oh...ok then well-

'Asuna what are you doing running around with a shady charecter such as this? Heathcliff warned Asuna by halting at her with a dangerous look. 'I'm here to watch you remember so don't go running off again beacuse I'm supposed to be protecting you!' Heathcliff yelled.

'Excuse me but why do you think you can talk to her like that?' Kirito exclaimed.

'Kirito leave it. That's his job to protect me' Asuna mentioned

'Yeah, his job is to protect you Asuna. Not yell at you and tell you where you can and can't go and who you are and arn't allowed to hang out with! Y'know, I could do a better job if  protecting you then this old man could!' Kirito replied.

'Right that's it! Miss Asuna, come back with me and you won't have to see this shady charecter again... that's what you want isn't it? You have just met this guy, how can you trust him?!' Heathcliff said in an overpowering voice.

'Ok, you want me to prove to you that I can protect asuna better than you ever could! Fine, I Will!' Kirito yelled.

'K- kirito?' Asuna said

'Yeah Asuna what is it?' Kirito replied.

'I isn't know what you have in mind but whatever it is I'm tell the commander how this happened...' Asuna explained.

'Ok, thanks. I know you got my back!' Kirito smiled. 'Lets do this! So, Heathcliff, you don't mind if we duel do you? If you really want to prove you can protect asuna you would do it!' Kirito exclaimed.

'Your on!' Heathcliff yelled.

They both flicked their two fingers down and pressed the button 'duel'.

DUEL!

As the two swordsmen clashed swords rage filled the air. Both their eyes were full of anger and as soon and Heathcliff  took another step closer, kirito smashed his sword through the air and out of Heathcliff hand.

WINNER : KIRITO

'Th- that's not fair! He CHEATED! You saw that miss Asuna! Right?' Heathcliff yelled as anger filled his eyes.
