Bardock entered the house, flowers in his hand with some candy. He had a smile as he walked up to me, "these are for you." I looked at them, shocked on how he was acting. "What for?" He chuckled, "because you're the most beautiful girl I've ever met." I slowly took the flowers, his smiled didn't fade. "Where's Paragus?" I was worried, he wasn't home yet. "I didn't see him on my way back here," His voice was carefree. I ran to the door but Bardock put his arm out and stopped me, "he might just be late, don't worry about it." The truth was, I was very worried about Paragus, he was never home late and if he was going to be, he always called me. "Please let me go Bardock, I need to go look for him." He shook his head, "can't let you do that, it's late, you'll get hurt." I looked at him, I felt angry as I went to my room. I saw the door opening slowly as Bardock peeked into the room. "Hey it's fine, I'm sure he'll be back in the morning," I just nodded, folding my knees into my chest. Broly came in, he was sleepy as he rubbed his eyes. "What's wrong?" Broly crawled into bed, leaning against me as he fell back asleep. I patted his head, laying down so Broly would be comfortable. "Listen Bardock, the couch is yours, Broly is sleeping in my room with me as we wait for Paragus." He just nodded, walking out of my room, going to the living room.

I was woken up the next morning by a crying Broly, I panicked. "What's wrong Broly?" His eyes we're full of tears, "look at the TV." I got up out of bed and walked out to the living room with him, I wasn't prepared for what I was going to see. "Breaking news, local soldier of King Vegeta has been found dead in an alley way. He was shot multiple times and police did find a wallet on him, let's go to the reporter for more information." Ginyu spoke, transfering to the reporter. "The man's name is Paragus, a local lower class saiyan, he has a small child and presumably a wife. We are going to the address addressed on his licence, hopefully to find his family. They believe that his killing was out of hatred or cold blood, he still has his money, and valuables, we are checking outside security to see who had done it, more news at 6." Tears fell down my face as they showed Paragus body, blood had dried all around his body. Bardock stood up, "we need to leave soon, can you come to the castle with me for some business?" I looked at him, "fine, I have to bring Broly." I picked Broly up and carried him, flying with Bardock to the castle. "Why do we have to go right now?" He didn't say a word, just me following him inside. "Hello Miss Y/n," King Vegeta spoke, bowing and kissing my hand. Bardock scoffed, "we have important stuff to talk about," He just nodded and followed him to a room. "I see Vegeta was planning on leaving me for you."
