Battle of Fairy Tail

On a sunny day in Magnolia, the town was getting ready for the Harvest festival while the members of the guy are getting ready for the Fantasia parade. Makarov along with Mira and Y/N were out around town gathering a few things to help decorate the guildhall.

Y/N: Guess the town is getting into the Harvest festival spirit huh.

Mira: Yeah plus everyone back at the guild is getting ready for the Fantasia parade.

Makarov: Of course people come from all over the country to see our parade. We can't let our fans down now, can we?

Y/N: *sighs* Yeah which is why I always go quest so I can avoid this parade.

Makarov: Come now boyo, it'll be good for you to join us. A lot of people from all over came to see you in the parade this year.

Y/N: Say what?!

Mira and Makarov chuckled hearing his reaction.

Makarov: Come now Y/N it'll be nice for you to be at the parade this year. A lot of people are wondering what you will be doing this year.

Mira: Yeah plus this year is going to be more exciting with you in it.

Y/N: *sighs* Fine guess I got no choice.

Makarov: Good on you boy.

Mira: It would be Laxus if he would join us.

Makarov: The less said about that bum the better.

Y/N: Well given the Fantasia parade is near makes sense for him to show up.

Mira: Yeah Levy said that he was in town so it wouldn't hurt to ask him.

Makarov: He came back?

Makarov stopped in his tracks which cause Y/N and Mira to stop and look at him.

Mira: Is something wrong?

Makarov: Of all times why did he have to show up now?

Mira and Y/N were worried about him. Y/N saw a family as they were walking by which he couldn't help but watch them.

Kid: When I grow I'm gonna join Fairy Tail and be in the parade too.

Father: Oh are ya now that's great.

Mom: I can't wait to see that come true.

The mother and father smiled at their son as they continued to walk on by them. Y/N watched them go on by, he looked down on the ground feeling a bit sad.

Y/N 'thought': I wish you were here mom, dad.

Makarov and Mira looked at him seeing him have a sad expression.

Makarov: You alright Y/N.

Y/N stayed quiet for a moment before he answered.

Y/N *sighs* Not really. Just that when I saw that family walk by I couldn't feel a bit sad that-.

Mira: Your parents not being here? 

Y/N nodded to what he said. Mira walked over to him and placed her hand on his.

Mira: It's ok Y/N. It's fine to miss them.

Y/N: Yeah I know but I just wish they could see this. Said cracking a small smile. They were really big on parades and parties.

Makarov: Your family must have been really close to each other.

Y/N turned to Makarov smiling.
