Jack never believed in love he actually thinks romantic comedies are bullshit since the time he was watching friends and he was wishing he was Rachel and he knew since little he was gay and he wished he got a Ross but he's father teach him that it's not okay to believe in love but it was okay to have different sexuality and that make him be the jack Maynard everyone loves and respect.

He always remember what his dad told him so he avoid love and he thinks no one really love him...

He went to the office to work and saw his best friend joe he was really nice guy, but the thing Jack didn't know he was actually in love with Joe and so does Joe with him.

In the work he had a shit day he was driving to his home when he hit his head with his room door.

The next thing he know it's that he is in the hospital and a handsome gay guy take care of him, he all the time thought he was dreaming, he even saw Joe marrying a girl he was very beautiful but he was jealous and he thought the only way to wake up from the dream was if does what happens in romantic movies because of course he hitting his head make him dream he was in a comedy romantic movie and he hate it.

He surprisly in the dream his head and come back to life he was so happy he wasn't stuck in a stupid comedy movie but the next day he saw Joe in the office. Jack asked him why he look so much in a big poster with a girl face she was pretty, but Joe just make him sit in his desk and he sit in jacks desk and all Jack can see is joe he don't see the girls poster at all jack started crying and he just kiss Joe and then he realize his life was actually a stupid romantic comedy and he even fall for his best friend and ended with him.
