CATASTROPHY
Call me Bond, James Bond
Always at your service, saving the day by a whisker
The camera's shutter, paw'sd on my formidable feline features
And my purr-fect posture is captured in that pose, surely, I'm the coolest cat
Sherlock Holmes, never looked that cool in his Deerstalker, chasing a rat
There was, of course, Mr Bigglesworth, my nemesis, who sadly got fat, spent to much time sitting on Dr Evil's lap, eating scraps
Remember Cheshire Cat, with a grin that scared the life out of a million kids, no doubt he's still grinning into the other side of Alice's looking glass
Oliver, so cute and what a voice, a smart one too, a homeless kitten who teamed with some streetwise dogs to survive, that's something 007 can relate to
Puss in Boots, now there's a truly cool cat, but surely, his little sword is no match for my Walther PPK
Heathcliff, what a wise guy, looked cool in that leather jacket, but they're not as smooth as my Saville Row suits
Yes, it might be true, that the immortal Felix has been on the prowl for a hundred years, but my favourite's still Pussy Galore, she makes my heart glow
NB: For many years the opening scene of James Bond movies have included a camera shutter, the interior of the lampshade is reminiscent of this.
