Serengeti Pride
Tufts of gold
upon the clay
where footpads cling
and old Kings lay
Here we hold
home and court
Here do dreams
and days consort
Endless are these
subtle plains
where the beast,
not human, reigns
Let them yet
in freedom abide
Here in their way
and in their pride
Watch the future rise
as so did the past
and carry on now
as the world always has
