Chapter 12

Once we had watched the Xtra Factor as well we chatted for a while. I asked about his X Factor experience and he told me all about it.

I yawned when it got late.

'Oh God, I'd better go.' He said, looking at me.

'You don't have to!' I protested as he stood up by grabbing his wrist.

'I do. I have to get up early and get you tomorrow. Be ready for 11 remember.' He placed my hand, which had just been clinging onto his arm, into his and wrapped both of his firm hands around it.

'How could I forget? The anticipation has been eating away at me!'

He leaned down and gently grabbed my face and pulled it towards him into a long, warm kiss. I threw my arms around his neck, not wanting to let go. I felt his mouth turn into a smile as he kissed me. Eventually, he broke away from the kiss and my arms. He kissed my temple once before collecting his phone and wallet from the coffee table.

'Get some sleep, I'll see you tomorrow.' Before I could say anything he was walking to out the door. At least he remembered his wallet this time.

I turned the TV off and put the stuff away. As I made up a cup of coffee I rang my mum.

'Hey mum, it's me.'

'Hi Aria, what's wrong?'

'Nothing, I just thought you might like to know that... I've met this guy.'

'Tell me all about him!'

And so I did.
