Leena walked in only to be almost tackled to the ground, by a fierce bundle of pink. It took her almost a minute to realize it was a girl, most likely the same age as her. "mufff" Leena muttered, as she tried to pry the girl off of her, especially now that she was choking on her hair. " Sorry" the girl muttered, "I'm just so excited to have finally been given a roommate, it can get awful lonely around here especially in a school like this"

"I'm Zaya by the way" the girl gestured to her self, "and you must be Leena"

Leena took her time to evaluate the girl as she continued to ramble about how much fun it was going to be having Leena here.

Zaya had bright pink hair, almost like the colour of candy floss, it flowed down to her waist, in brilliant curls, while what looked like to be white lilies threaded through her hair. She had high cheek bones, and bright blue eyes free from the troubles of the world. Leena watched as she swished and swayed while talking, her bangles on her arm clattering every time she did so. Her long beige skirts was splattered with a grey substance, which led Leena to believe she was an artist just like herself, probably a sculptor of some sort.

Zaya, put her arms in the pockets of her fluffy white cardigan " I'm sorry for babbling, its just that we don't get many new people around here, and when we do they never want to associate with the likes of me"

Leena looked at Zaya, whose voice had now trailed off and become vulnerable. She wondered who would be so quick to judge this sweet innocent girl. Sure she had a strange way of dressing, and her outfit did not quite match, but that's what St. Agatha's was about freedom of expression.

Leena became angry with the thought of someone mistreating Zaya, especially since the girl looked like she wouldn't hurt a fly.

"Well you wont have to worry about me, I quite enjoy hanging out with short girls with pink hair"

"Hey I'm not short" Zaya retaliated.

Which caused them both to be absorbed in a fit of giggles. Leena smiled to herself, she had made one friend already and maybe just maybe this year wouldn't be so bad.

Author note

Sorry that it quite short again, it should get longer as the story progresses.
