The boy next door

Scared

When cash looked at you, he looked scared. "Y/n, get under the table" he says. "I'm not leaving you out here alone" you say. So you stay there with cash. You're both terrified. "GIVE ME ALL THE MONEY!" Yells the man. He looks over at you and cash. You both freeze. Lucky enough, the cops slam through the doors and the man drops his gun. "ON THE GROUND NOW!" Yells the cops. Everybody jumps on the ground except for the robber. "ON THE GROUND OR WE'LL SHOOT!" Yells a cop. "I dare you!" Says the man. Cash moves over to you and hugs you, covering you. He holds you tight and you squeeze his hand. You guys look into each others eyes and you can tell you're both scared. Just then, you hear a gunshot and everybody screams. You just keep looking into his eyes. You're scared.

When everyone is outside, you see a car pull in that looks like Mavericks. "Are you guys okay?" He yells out the window. He pulls up to you and cash and you guys get in. "Yeah.. were fine" you say. You guys drive home. "What happened?" Asked maverick. "Some guy broke into Taco Bell with a gun trying to get all their money," Said cash. "Well I'm glad you're okay," Said maverick. You guys get home and you go get into the shower.

When you get out, you just lay in bed. After a few minutes of laying there, cash comes it with one of his hoodies. "Are you ok?" He says as he hands you the hoodie. "Yeah.. thanks" you say. He sits on the end of the bed. "I'm sorry that happened" he says. "It's fine, it's not like you planned it. And you couldn't exactly control that.." you say. He lays next to you and you cuddle up to him and fall asleep. When you wake up, Cash is also asleep so you just lay there until he wakes up. "What time is it?" He asks. You grab your phone and check. "9:00. P.M." you say. "Are you hungry?" He asks. "Yeah.. kinda" you say. "Do you want to go to McDonalds? I think that would pretty much be the only place open at this time," he says.

You guys head to McDonalds and get something to eat. You guys sit in the car and eat. "How is it?" Asks cash. You laugh. "Probably as good as McDonalds can get," you say.  Cash laughs. "It's almost 10:00, we should probably get home" he says. "Yeah" You say. You guys drive home. When you get there, you go to your bed. Cash comes in to check on you. He goes to leave but you ask him to stay. You're still kind of scared from what happened today. "Can you stay with me?" You ask. "Yeah I can.. why though?" He asks, "are you still scared from today?" "Yeah, kind of " you say. He lays next to you and you cuddle up to him. "We have school tomorrow" You say. "Yeah.. I'll set my alarm" he says and you guys go to bed.
