~First Person POV~

Everything was blurry for me, the bright sky making me squint. I held my hand up in the air to block the sun out of my view. I really needed to stop passing out... It was starting to become a bad habit. I looked around and slowly sat up, taking in my surroundings. It looked like I was in some part of an abandoned city. As to how I had gotten here I don't know. The last thing I remember before passing out was that talking... Creature. Maybe that was the dream and this was reality? I got up off the ground and dusted off my uniform, looking around the area I was in. "Hello?" I called out. "Is there anyone there?" There was no answer, just an aerie echo and the wind tunneling through the buildings. I won't find anyone by just standing here.. I start to walk around, being cautious of where I step. I'm listening closely as I go through street by street. "Where was everybody?? These building didn't even look like they were... Liveable." As I finish the last of my words, I see carved into the cement giant claw marks. "That's extremely reassuring. Maybe this is the nightmare after all." I mumbled to myself. I start to get the sneaking suspicion that there is a reason no one is living here. Eventually I find my way to a clearing, thinking that I might have found my way out. "There you are! I was thinking maybe you weren't going to show." A surprisingly bold and cheerful voice scared me half to death, making me shoot around quickly. Before me was a very muscular man with blond hair, his bangs forming two points that resembled bunny ears. He was... Smiling? "So, tell me. How can someone without a quirk save a fellow classmate?" He said. "What do you mean?" I question him, concerned on what exactly he meant. "I was told you were quirkless, and you want to join this prestigious school so late into the school year." He said, stepping closer. "So, in order to join this school you need to get past me and save your classmate." He said, the smile remaining on his face. Behind him was a very confused ans scared green hair boy tied up on the ground. Was that the same boy I talked to earlier? If I didn't have a quirk, why were they making me fight this man? Well, not really fight him just get past him. I can at least do that much. Hopefully.. "Well, let's get moving! Can't keep him waiting!" The man said. I took a deep breath to calm my nerves before trying to run around him. He appeared right where I was going to run. I didn't even see him move. "It's not going to be that easy." He said. I continued to try and move around him but he was moving inhumanly fast for me to get around him. It was like this for a while before I backed myself up. My mom and I worked out together and when I wanted to give up, she told me to look at it from a different perspective. So Maybe there is more than one way to get around him. I pant for a moment, my eyes darting around to find a solution. What if I ran straight at him? That's sounds idiotic but he might not expect it. I Sprint again, this time going straight for him. He didn't even seem phased but I continued on. Once I got too close, I sucked and tried to slip under his legs. While I was sliding under, he grabbed me by the back of my blazer and flung me back out. I winced when I hit the ground. Not only did I had road rash from my calf to my thigh but now I'm sure I'll be more than a little sore tomorrow morning. This isn't a dream, this is real. You can't feel pain in dreams and that means I need to get serious. I need to get into this school so that I can stay protected. I kept running at him, avoiding sliding from now on for obvious reasons. No matter which direction I went in, he got there before me. Suddenly, to the left of us, there was a loud explosion I jolted out of my thoughts and saw it was the building lined up with the green boy. I froze for a second, seeing the building starting to crumble and fall down. I looked at the boy and something inside me snapped. He was tied up and couldn't do anything. I was free falling in the sky. I wasn't going to let someone else get hurt because they couldn't help the situation they were in. Energy filed up my body and I dashed straight across and past the man. I grabbed the boy and got out of the way of the falling building. It felt all very slow to me, everything did. I don't know if this is adrenaline but the boy looked just as shocked as I felt when we got to the other side. He wasn't easy to carry so I sat him down and quickly untie him. "Are you okay??" I ask and he just sits there, frozen. I look at him, wondering if he's in shock from the building falling. "Hello? I need a yes or no. Did you get hurt?" I ask him again. He shook his head. "U-um, no I'm okay. Thank you." He said. I nod and I look at the rubble and to the other side where I was standing before. "Where did he go?" I said out loud. "Thank you miss Arumi. You and young Midoriya may head back to my office. Just go back to way you came." Someone said over what appeared to be speakers placed around the city. I looked at the boy next to me. "Are you Midoriya?" I ask. He nods and smiles. "Yep, that's me. You can call me Deku if you would like." He said. I paused and sweat dropped. I wasn't going to question him on why he wanted to be called Deku. "I'm Caelesti, but most people just call me Lesti." I say and politely shake his hand. "I know the way out, just follow me." He said and started to jogged away. I nodded and followed him. My entire body was aching, but I knew we had to get back. We went down several streets before getting to a metal door. Once we stopped in front of it, a light above the door flashed from red to green and made a buzzer noise before sliding open. We walked inside and Deku continued to jog. This kid has a lot more energy than I do, that is for sure. I'm sure he wasn't thrown through a portal into an abyss then running at a brick wall continuous for what felt like forever. By brick wall, I meant the man. My leg had stopped bleeding thankfully but my uniform was covered in dust and had a couple tares at the end of the skirt from sliding across the cement ground. I'm sure I looked like a mess. Hopefully we didn't pass a mirror on our way to wherever we were going. It took us another ten minutes to get from the city area to the office the person of the speakers spoke about. We walked into the conference room that Hawks, Endeavor and I walked through earlier then to the office. This time I was mentally prepared to see a talking animal. Hopefully I didn't offend him by passing out like that... Deku knocked on the door and a cheerful voice said, "Come in!" We opened the door and walked in. Endeavor and Hawks were still there among another man. He was thin and had on fairly baggy clothing. His face was in a shadow but I got the feeling that he wasn't too happy about something. The chair at the main desk swiveled around and the same white bear, rat creature was there. I didn't pass out this time but it didn't stop me from feeling uneasy. "Hello! Thank you Mister Midoriya for helping her get here. You are free for the day." He said. Deku nodded and bowed respectfully before heading out the door. When he said he knew they way out, I figured he knew about this in the first place. "It's nice to meet you miss Arumi. I didn't quite get the chance to introduce myself earlier. I am Principal Nezu. I didn't intend to frighten you." He said. I shook my head. "No, I should be the one apologizing." I said and bowed my torso in apology. I may be from California, but I knew Japanese customs. "I didn't mean to offend you sir." I said and stood back up. He nodded and seemed to be thinking about something. "I was informed that you do not have a quirk. However, that is not what you displayed for us in the practice city." He said. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at him confused. "I'm sorry, I don't really understand what you mean." I said. He nodded and pressed a button, a projected screen popping up on the wall behind him. "I will replay the video and show you." He said. "This is the live footage of you trying to get past All Might, one of the Instructors here at UA." He said and pressed play. "This is moments before a bomb detonated inside of the building next to one of our students, Izuku Midoriya. We had another teacher standing by in case you were not able to reach him before the rubble touched the ground." He said. "As you know, it was not necessary because.." he trailed off and showed the clip. In the clip, past me heard the explosion go off and look at Deku. At that point it was about saving his life and not passing the exam. What I thought was adrenaline, was actually something completely different. In the video, there was a split second where you could see me snap out of my tired stupor. It looked like my skin was glowing in a way, like I gave off my own form of light. In that split second I had speed past All Might and grabbed Deku before the building crashed. I stood there in complete astonishment... I thought it was just adrenaline. There was no way possible that had happened to me. "Midoriya was over forty yards away from you. As a quirkless person,  you should not have been able to cross the area at that speed." Principal Nezu said, pausing the clip. "That's... Not possible." I said to him, shaking my head. "I've never done that before, why would that happen now?" I said, looking at him. He hummed a little. "That, I am able to explain." He said. "Endeavor, Hawks. I would like you to leave the room for a few minutes while I explain the situation we are in to miss Arumi." Principal Nezu looked over at the two and they nodded. I saw Hawks hesitate a little bit but he followed, exiting the office. The male that was sitting on the other side of the room walked up, setting the file on the desk. "Can you read this file, and confirm that the person inside of here is your mother." The male said. I nodded slowly. Is this what the blood test was about? Principal Nezu went over and turned on the lights so I was able to read. I took the file in my hand and opened it up. I read down the file, confused. Where was my dad? He should be in here too... I go to the bottom and read the name then look at the photo. I nod a little. "Yes, this is my mom but... That's not my mom's name." I said, looking up at the male. I heard principal Nezu walk back over and sit on the chair. "What is the name that is on the file?" The male asked. He sounded pained and I wasn't sure why. "It says on here that her name is Nana Shimura. My mom's name is Anna Arumi." I said. Principal Nezu hummed. "So that gateway is what I thought it is." He said. As I read down the file I froze and I wanted to throw up. "This... This file. It has to be wrong. It says.." I couldn't finish my sentence. The male took the file and closed it before I could say anything else. "Calm down, that file is correct for us. But not for you." Principal Nezu said. I looked at him, praying that what I read on that file was not true. "That portal you fell through, was it hot or was it cold. Depending on your answer depends on what happened." He said. "It was cold, like winter. Until I got out of the darkness and into the sky." I said. "Then that is good, but also very bad. The good thing is that your mother is perfectly fine. The bad thing is that you might be in danger." He said. "Was it storming or about to storm when you fell into the hole?" He questioned further. I nodded, looking at him. "Yes, it was. It came out of nowhere. It wasn't supposed to rain that day. Not only that, but we were in the middle of a drought." I said. He nodded, thinking. "The answer is simple." He said then. "Toshinori, this is Caelesti Shimura. At least in this dimension." He said and I looked at him, dumbfounded. The male he referred to as Toshinori looked at me, nodding. "You will need to train her as you did with young Midoriya. I don't have all the details yet, but I believe All for One might have a dimension quirk. Or the calculations were just right and sent Nana into the other dimension." He said. My head was swimming with so many different things, but I don't know how to question it. "I will try my best. What class will she be assigned to." Toshinori said, looking at principal Nezu. "Well, after evaluation I decided this. Even though she thought she didn't have a quirk, she tried to save the other male. She was relentless. Due to her dedication and being able to follow through with the mission, I have decided that she will join class 1-A and in order to catch up with the others she will take the summer courses some of the others are taking to get their provisional license." He said. Toshinori nodded. "Her dorms should be ready to go and class starts tomorrow." I sweat drop, listening to this. "And one more thing, Don't forget your books!" He said and cheerfully handed me several books. I took them, thinking to myself. I was kind of wishing it really was just a test of determining wether I was going to heaven or hell.
