known back story ; eerika black was born to a wellknown couple. they never wanted a child and well- eerika wasn't even his. away from the public eye, eerika would be beaten nearly to death. whether it be with a hand, belt, whip, switch, bottles... she was also raped from a young age, though it was the only life she ever knew so she never thought it was wrong. however once she began to attend school, she listened to the stories the other children told about their parents and began to realize what hers did to her wasn't right.
to avoid coming home, she would stop by the park everyday on the way home from school. there she met taytum stark who was fifteen at the time. taytum became like an elder sister to her, one that treated her kindly. taytum would teach her dance and cheerleading- all the stuff she did in her school! she and eerika became very close.
eerika was six when she told taytum about the happenings in her home. taytum was absolutely heartbroken upon hearing this, yet knew she couldn't do anything without it being counted as kidnapping. so she brought tony into it.
tony quickly became like a real father to eerika. finally when the other little girls told stories about their daddies, eerika could tell stories about her tony.
taytum began to "baby sit" for eerika's parents, also known as saving her for at least the weekends.
the starks took it to the law and sure enough, the police took eerika out of the abusive home.
tony was the first in like to take the little girl in for years and years of happiness ahead.
timeskip to 12 years old. bby eerika was starting to realize some things. she really liked the boobs on emera, but also the body on thor yano? she began to wonder things and went into the internet.
she came to the conclusion that she was bisexual. she waited it out before coming out to all of the avengers at once, deciding it was best. eerika got the best reactions she could've asked for. a high five and "me too" from steve, a solemn nod and "relatable" from taytum, and a very loud proclamation of how he'll always love her from tony.
timeskip to a few years later. one of her best friends and crush came out as transgender, though eerika still felt the same feelings towards him. she waited to see if the feelings would go away but they didn't. so she looked it up and found "pansexual". this coming out was more casual, though on this one she got a rather loud "HELL YEAH" from both thor and emera.
at seventeen, she began to change. she didn't feel right as a girl. spending lots of time in the lgbt+ community, this one she didn't have to look for. she immediately knew what this was. but she also knew it was probably smart to wait it out, see how she felt in a few weeks.
still a boy at heart. yep. he actually came out to clint first. clint heard them crying one night and went in to investigate. you can imagine his confusion when he saw him glaring at his clothes as if they killed tony and taytum. "hey- what did the clothes do to you?"
eerika, soon to be erik, looked up at clint, quickly wiping his tears. "they look dumb."
clint sat on the bed, setting down his coffee. "aren't they all designer?"
"they still look dumb! they're all for girls... i don't like being a girl! i wanna be a boy..."
clint nodded, listening. "and that is perfectly fine!"
it was a couple more days until eerika came out as erik to the others. and like she had before, taytum took him to the mall and they went on a spree. erik got a hair cut and a whole new wardrobe.
when they got back home he found a packer and binder waiting for him on the bed. they struggled either the items for a bit before calling up peter parker, one of their best friends and fellow transboy.
erik talked to tony and tony told him that he could get testosterone shots and when he turned eighteen, he would pay for top surgery. however when he hit eighteen, they had been introduced to wakanda. so they were able to have top and bottom surgery. health concerns ; anxiety , depression [ on medication for both ] history of anorexia (12-15 years) known family ; tony stark (self proclaimed father) refuses to speak or acknowledge others.
