When The Sun Goes Down.

Chapter 4

Once we get there, the line to get in is absolutely huge but luckily I see Laura, Rose, Monica and her boyfriend stood Fairly close to the front. "Ez! Lia!" Laura shouts motioning for us to go over there.

Once we get in line with them there are a few moans and groans from the people behind us but Monica told them to shut up and said that they are gonna get in either way.

"Youse both look stunning!" Rose says moving up to let us in the circle formed to keep warm in the freezing cold January night.

"Aw thank you" We both said huddling closer together in the need of body heat.

The rest of the girls are also wearing Arctic Monkeys T-shirts and dressed in black and white to go with the Theme of the AM album and concert.

I check my phone- it's bang on 7:00 and as I lift my head up from my phone the doors begin to open.

There are lots of cheers and I slip my phone in my bag as I walk in with the girls.

Luckily, Nathan has left us to go find his friends so hopefully it will be to crowded for him to get near us again for the rest of the concert.

Once we get in there we get an amazing spot right in the middle of the 3rd row- the stage is perfectly clear!

"OMG this view is immense! I can't control my excitement!" I say to the girls either side of me, almost shouting over the rest of the crowd who are also nearly shouting over each other to talk to one another.

"I know! I'm so glad I started queuing at half 5!" Says Monica.

"Half 5?!" Questions Laura.

"Yep. But it was definitely worth it!" She says proudly.

How can she get home, literally have no time to get ready, be out in the freezing cold wind and still look amazing? It's a question I will never be able to understand.

It's been about 10 minutes and all we have done is chat about what songs we can't wait to see them perform. I said 'R U Mine?' but really all I can't wait for is to see Alex Turner on stage.

Eventually, the flood lights begin to swirl around and on comes Miles Kane and the rest if the Rascals.

"Hello Sheffield!!" He shouts down the microphone.

The crowd cheers loudly.

The Rascals have performed a few of there most popular songs Miles began to speak.

"We'll that's it for us tonight lady's and gentlemen but are your ready for the ARCTIC MONKEYS!?!?" He shouts.

The whole arena shakes from all the screaming a cheering of fans (including me, Amelia, Monica, Laura, And Rose!).

The Rascals get off stage and 5 minutes later the flood lights begins to swirl again, the smoke machine begins to puff out smoke and all of a sudden the intro to 'Do I Wanna Know?' comes on and on walks on 4 shadows and the arena shakes again.

"Hello Sheffield!" Alex shouts down down the mic with his sexy deep northern accent and everyone screams.

I scream so much that my throat begins burn. I've got to admit I find Alex Turner extremely hot and good looking and I honestly dream of meeting him one day but I know that will obviously never happen.

Plus I would never be able to speak to him properly! I get so shy in front of people I like!

The Beat of 'Do I Wanna Know' Kicks in and Alex begins singing with his sexy voice and smirk on his face.

"Have you got got colour in you cheeks?-"

Hes pointing staring at me.

Was that at me?

No.

It couldn't have been...

Or was it?

A warm fuzzy feeling comes across me and Im beginning blush.

I know it wasn't at me though.

They play a few more songs off the album then finished with 'R U Mine?'.

"Thank you Sheffield you have been amazing tonight!!" Alex shouted. "We just love coming back to our home town and being greeted with and such a great crowd! Again, you all have been amazing- good night!" Alex says and then the band exits the stage.
