We been together for 9 years now and I still feel like I don't know her I love her so much and still not know the real her
her family and mine are partners and they were trying to set us up together for as long as I can remember but as soon as we did I couldn't be happier
"Hey love where are you going, " I asked looking at the tight short dress she was wearing it was showing a little much
"Out with your sister in law to help pick out flowers for the wedding your brother didn't tell you"
I shook my head no, she sighed and rubbed my chest " I won't be gone long okay I'll bring you something to eat"
I shrugged she smiled giving me a quick kiss before running out the door no I love you or nothing
I sighed as I walked to our bedroom knowing she'll probably be gone all day I'm going to my mom's house for dinner
I pulled my shirt over my head and my phone started ringing
I smacked my lips as I picked up "yo" I said sitting on my bed taking my shoes off
"Yo bro where you at" my homie Chris yelled into my ear
We were roommates in college and ever since we became the closest friends he was a little wild but I learn to live with it because shit I wasn't any better
"I'm at home just got off why wassup"
He sounds like he was driving why would he call me he knows I hate that shit

"Aye don't worry about that, listen my cousin just got home and I was wondering if we could stop by"
I shrugged honestly I didn't have anything planned and didn't like being alone so chilling would be dope

He said bet hanging up I guess I'll take a quick shower before they get here
After my shower, I put on some basketball shorts and black tee I walked to the kitchen about make something to snack on
Soon as I took the ham out somebody started banging on the door I sighed putting it back
"Here I come " I yelled walking to the door
I looked through the peephole seeing Chris and I'm guessing his cousin hash I opened the door
"Wassup nigga," Chris said giving me dab "this hash, hash this Drew"
"Wassup man," he said with a smile
I shook his hand he seems like a cool dude "Y'all come on in" I said moving out the way letting them come in
"Where the wife," Chris asked walking to my living room
They both sat on my long couch while I took a seat in my chair
"Out with Eric wife wedding planning"
"You really gonna marry that gold digger man u don't even look happy "
I sighed "aye man don't talk about my soon to be wife u know how I feel about that "
He put his hands up and nodded with a laugh

My phone started ringing I pulled it from my pocket shit "aye hold on I'll be right back"
I stepped outside putting the phone to my ear closing the door behind me
"Hello"
"Hey Andrew, we have a new client bruh "
I rubbed my neck "um okay, u couldn't have emailed me" I asked because it's rare he would call about client must be important
"No, this one comes from" he paused I heard paper moving around " the police department"
I was shocked I never had a client like this before I don't even think I'm trained for one I don't even think we can even be in the same room shit I'm still working shit out
"What" I yelled " what they talking about they killed somebody or something"
"No it's nothing like that, they just have to do it for apart of their parole"
I sighed in relief I nodded as if he could see me "oh, good" I laughed
"I'll email you the information the Officer sent me I didn't get a name yet"
"Okay thanks again Justin"
I hung up walking back in "oh are you guys leaving "I asked Chris and Hash who was walking to the door
"Yeah men my aunt cooking dinner, hey u could come by if you want"
I shook my head "oh no I'm about to go get dinner at my mom and dad house"
"Damn okay, tell your folks, I said hey," he said giving me dap
"Same, Aye it was nice meeting you, "I said dapping up hash

I nodded waving as they made it to the car, I closed the door walking to my office
"I might as well read up on my client while I have the time
