Chapter 4

~Storm's POV~
I still can't believe that they're being so calm about this. Xylo says he wouldn't defend whoever we think burnt down Pack Haven unless he was either 1.) mind controlled or 2.) convinced it was someone else. So that calmed me down a little bit. Only a little bit, though. So now, I'm pacing back and forth in front of Bryan's place because he said he wanted to show me something. He didn't say what, and that scares me. But, whatever it is, I hope it's something good.

Please let it be something good.

Please, Moon Goddess, please.

"Hey, Storm! You OK?" Bryan came out of his house and I didn't even realize it! All I can do is-
"Yeah. Fine." Definitely not that! Why'd I say that?!?!
"OK, good. Come in. I have something to show you." Well, I was shocked when I saw it. When I saw my favorite thing in the whole world in his house.

I saw the drawing board I used to draw on when I was bored! He found it! That means-
"THANK YOU SO MUCH, BRYAN!!!!!!!"
"You're welcome, Storm." I had a feeling you'd want this back. Looks like I was right." He has no idea how right he was.
~Next Day~
~Storm's POV~
I woke up a little later than usual. I heard people talking outside of my house, so I, naturally, go and check to see what the noise is.
"Oh thank the Moon Goddess you woke up! I need help. Alpha can't know about this. It's about, well, I need you to spy on the vampires for me. I know it's asking much of you but-" I cut Xylo off before he could finish.
"I'll do it." He smiled.
"Good. Your mission starts tonight... or now, since you're apparently half vampire already!" I giggle.
"Hey, there's some things about me even Mario doesn't know. This being one of them. Well, I better get ready for the mission." Xylo nods as a sign he's waiting outside for me while I get ready.
~10 Minutes Later~
I took less time than I thought I would. I meet Xylo on the porch and we head to Mythspire for my mission. Xylo fills me in on why I'm doing this for him, and I agree it's better if I do it.
"Remember, you're looking for some place to stay after becoming a vampire 7 years ago. You want revenge on the werewolves for killing your brother in front of you. Understood?" I nod my head as we come up to the castle in the process of being built. I take a deep breath.
"Here goes."
