Thanksgiving was upon us and I couldn't wait to spend it with the three most important people in my life. I was out doing some grocery shopping with Kiesh and Eissa. Jermaine insisted that Kalia stay at home with him talking about 'Cheeks it's too cold for her to be out' I just laughed at him but decided to leave her at home cause I wouldn't hear the end of it if I took her with.
"Mama I wan candy." Since Eissa could talk more clearly he was always asking for something. My handsome boy was a smart little man. "Which ones you want?" He pointed at jelly beans and I got them for him and some oreo cookies. I looked over my shoulder and Gil was busy on his phone as always. I snatched it out of his hands putting it in my bag and pushing the trolley.
"Bitch! How you gone snatch my phone and then continue shopping like you didn't do nothing wrong?" He asked pulling me back. "Gil you stay on your phone you need to give it some rest." He huffed folding his arms. "Just like you stay on Jermaine's dick, but I don't tell you to give it some rest."I gasphed looking around to see if someone heard him.
"Lower your voice stupid. And that is different okay, we supposed to be spending time together but you just on your phone so much we hardly talk." I pouted giving him back his phone. I walked away going to pay for everything. He walked up behind me as I finished paying and grabbed some of the bags. I held Eissa with my one hand.
"Booty I'm sorry I didn't realise that this is affecting our friendship." I put the bags in the trunk closed it and opened the back door securing Eissa in his carseat. I got in on the driver side and he got in on the passenger side.
"Please talk to me Jan, I'm sorry." He had a sad face.
"I know you love your phone but Kiesh you don't see me all over Jermaine when it's supposed to be our time together. This been going on for months now and I thought you would stop." I came to a stop light turning to him and he had tears. "I didn't mean to make you cry Kiesh but please just cut down on the phone okay.?" He nodded and I pulled him into a quick hug before the light turned green and I started driving.
When we got home the house was quiet but there was a very nice smell coming from the kitchen and when I walked in the kitchen Jermaine's mother was stirring a pot. "Hey momma. I missed you so much." I hugged her amd she kissed my cheek. I hadn't seen her since Kalia was two months.
"I missed you too honey." Eissa came running in the kitchen and when he saw her he stretched out his hands wanting her to pick him up. "Grammy I mist yew." She kissed him all over his face and he laughed. I loved hom much she accepted him and never once treated him differently from how she treats Shaniah and Jayleen.
"Grammy missed you too Prince. You wanna help me cook?" He nodded as she sat him on the counter. I walked into the living room and Kiesh was just relaxed watching something on t.v. "I'll be right back okay." I told him rushing up the stairs. Opening the bedroom door I smiled seeing my baby girl laying on her daddy's chest as they watched t.v
"Momma is back princess." I walked in picking her up and she smiled looking at me. "Hey cutey." I kissed her cheek and bemt down kissing him on the lips. "You get evrything you wanted?" He asked laying back down.
"Yes I did and I'm glad momma is here to help me cook." I was about to walk out when he gently pulled me back by my pants. "Baby can we talk quickly?" I sat down pulling my hoodie up and breastfed my baby girl.
"Thanksgiving is in two days baby so I asked Shaniah and Jayleen to come spend it with us." He told me but I could tell that there was something else he wanted to say. "Okay I don't have a problem with that love but I feel like you have more to say." He sat straight up with his back to the headboard turning of the T.V
