I was so proud of my baby as I watched her do her thing on the billboard stage. She killed her perfomance and then gave a heart felt speech. I was just sad that I couldn't be there with her on that beautiful night. I had to come down here to Miami for business and I haven't seen her and the babies for two weeks now. I was missing them like crazy.
I had just left out the hotel room walking to the car when Da Brat ran to catch up with me. I laughed as she took deep breaths in and out. "Why you breathin'like your ass was running the damn marathon?" I asked as we got into the SUV and the driver started it up. "It feels like it man." I shook my head getting out my phone. I tried to call Janet but it rang until it went to voicemail. This was the third time I had tried to call her today and her phone wasn't going through I was beginning to get worried. "Why you got that look on your face JD wassup?" I redialled her number again and same thing she didn't pick up.
"I'm worried about Janet I been calling since I woke up and she ain't picking up my calls." I decided on sending her a message.

I put my phone back in my pocket. "Stop stressing I'm sure she is okay, if she doesn't get back to you later today then you can call her friend have him check on her." Yeah she was right I would just call Gil and ask him to check on her and see if she was doing okay.
Getting to the venue where I would be playing at tonight as the dj. I checked it out ot was a real nice club. The owner walked up greeting us then showed us around. "Thank you for coming through JD and I trust tonight is gonna be a good night." He dapped me up. "It's gone be a great night, you know JD the main man." Brat let him know as she stood right next to him and fist bumped him. "If there is anything you need just let me know, I have to go sort out some paperwork I'll see y'all later." We walked out right behind him getting back in the car we were going to a resturant for brunch.
"Why we gotta come to a vegan resturant JD?" She groaned as we walked inside and were seated. "Cause I wanted us to, now stop being a baby and see what you can eat." She just shook her head no. "I swear you act just like Janet, she be throwing tantrums and stuff wanting her fries." I laughed thinking about my baby. She didn't have a problem with vegan food just that sometimes she wanted her Macdonald fries and ice cream.
"Yeah I'm not bout to eat anything here so I'll just have coffee." The waiter wrote down her order and I told him to just get me the breakfast special they had.
"So on to serious business man, I see Janet wearing the ring again did you pop the question?" She was so eager to know scooting closer to the table. "No I did not pop the question." Her face dropped as she moved her chair back a bit. "You planning on asking her to marry you though right?"
"I don't think she ready for marriage again. She's had three failed ones already hell I don't think she will ever want to get married again." I saw how much the divorce with Eissa's father had affected her and from the talks we would have I got a slight hint that she might never want to get married again.
"But she loves you JD so I say go for it man." Her coffee and my food was brought out and I started eating. "You guys love is just so strong I don't think anything would get in the way of you two tying the knot." I listened to her as I ate my food. "And I know how you and her have this thing that you don't need to sign some paper to validate what you have. But reality is there is gonna be sometime where you will have to make some decisions but if you not married to her then you won't be allowed to so think about it."
She was right and I knew that as well but i just was not in a rush for us to get married I wanted us to fully get back to the loving part and trust each other fully again before we took that next step. "I hear you ayt. But I think it's just too soon for us to be moving in that direction, we hadn't even been back together that long and she got pregnant with Kalia she still needs to heal fron her divorce and fully accept that part of her life is done with then we can talk about marriage. I love her and I want to marry her one day when the time is right." She nodded understanding what I was saying. Finishing my food I paid the bill and we left out to do some more stuff before tonight.
